In the event of an atomic bomb attack, the hazard of flying glass may extend over an area of approximately two hundred square miles. This investigation provides evidence that the area of common window glazing hazard could be reduced to coincide with the area of moderate structural damage or to approximately seven square miles, by proper selection of glazing material.
