BOOK EXCERPT:
Every sphere of society is crying out for Kingdom transformation! Sadly, poor teaching and great misunderstanding have led many Christians to reject any notion of so-called "dominion theology." This has left the dominion mandate that Jesus imparted to all believers woefully unfulfilled. Dr. C. Peter Wagner understood that the reformation of society was never intended to come through man's ideas and agendas; it could only be achieved through bold, empowered believers, intentional about reforming their culture through Kingdom principles and vision. The strategic keys and revelation Dr. Wagner presents in Dominion! are perhaps more relevant today than when he first penned them. A collection of the original book release and its revised edition, this new edition of Dominion! features Dr. Wagner's helpful perspective on theocracy and the tragic misunderstanding of dominion theology. Discover vital keys to exercising authority over the powers of darkness and advancing the Kingdom of God through teachings on: Entering the Second Apostolic age and the move of God that is presently upon us. Becoming the Church in the Workplace... by releasing Heaven's influence and solutions into the marketplace. Embracing the practice of spiritual warfare... by encouraging believers to exercise Jesus’ authority over darkness. Anticipating the prophesied great transfer of wealth... and its role in shaping culture. We stand in a pivotal hour of history where there is both tremendous need and opportunity for the Church to bring powerful reformation to all spheres of society. This is the hour to step into your authority and release God’s glory into every segment of your society. This is the hour for transformation!

BOOK EXCERPT:
And God blessed them, and God said unto them, be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. It was God's intent that the human family would explore and leverage on the dominion he has given them over the entire earth. However, Adam's lack of appreciation - shown by defying the only restriction placed on him - required severe punishment After the fall of man in the Garden of Eden, man ceded his dominion to the devil. Man betrayed the trust God reposed on him when he gave the primary ruler-ship of the earth to him. But because of God’s love for man, he worked out a redemptive plan and came down to die in order to ransom man by the shedding of his own blood. When the penalty of man’s sin was fully paid on the cross of Calvary and the access to the throne room of grace was opened for man to obtain mercy and find grace to help in times of need, man once again obliged by God to accept his offer for pardon. Now, anyone that has accepted the lordship of Jesus Christ over his/her life and also walk in the consciousness of the finished work of Calvary could exercise his dominion in Christ over the forces of life and nature.

BOOK EXCERPT:
John Wyclif’s modern critics have found little in his works that justified his fame by the standards of intellectual history. This book reconstructs Wyclif’s discourse on the theological and political consequences of his radically new insight into the integrity of man and nature as regards the good, free and beautiful life, communicated to his contemporary scholastic and lay audience. His theological, legal and political vision of the opportunity to restore original justice through the spiritual reality and sanctity of persona humana in every man as well as in the community by the law of love and the use and enjoyment of dominion in community enfolds through abundant quotes from his works, justifying his fame at the time of the birth of the modern nation as the King of Philosophers and the Fifth Evangelist.

BOOK EXCERPT:
Many commentators and users of the Bible have, over the centuries and up to the present day, used the Bible to argue that animals have no rights, that they were put on this earth for our use, and that we have no obligations to them. In his cogent, honest, and fully researched and referenced work, The Dominion of Love, Norm Phelps attempts to encourage all who revere the Bible as holy scripture to open their hearts to the suffering that we inflict upon our nonhuman neighbors. He shows that the right of animals not to be imprisoned, harmed, and killed for our benefit flows naturally from the Bible's message of love and compassion and argues that this is the message of the Bible's most important passages dealing with our relationship to animals. He further responds to the defenses of animal exploitation that are often made based on the Bible. Beautifully written, The Dominion of Love is an essential addition to a growing body of literature that argues for a compassionate and non-exploitative reading of Holy Scripture.

BOOK EXCERPT:
First published in 1965. The peculiar political condition which is now called Dominion status has had a long and varied history; but no part of its development has been so full of constitutional interest as the last twenty years. Yet those who have lived through this period are frequently very much at loss to recall the exact sequence of events and the manner in which Dominion autonomy has proceeded step by step to its present position. This book is an attempt to give the general reader a concise account of what Dominion status means, and how it has grown out of the political experience of the immediate past. To accomplish this, the book is arranged in two parts: first, a narrative of the development of Dominion status since 1900; and second, a very generous selection from the essential contemporary documents by means of which the reader may, if he so desires, study this development first-hand. These documents have not been limited to official reports and bluebooks (which are naturally indispensable in dealing with such a topic), but they also include other material from newspapers and periodicals, which supplement the formal papers and frequently bear additional information which is unobtainable elsewhere. The two parts have been linked together by footnotes and cross-references.
