This book addresses the impact of inclusion on the performance of students with and without special needs in Lebanese schools. The Committees report examines the wide range of outdoor learning experiences, from lessons held within school grounds to residential expeditions abroad, and considers the place of outdoor learning in the curriculum from foundation stage to higher education. Issues discussed include: the value of outdoor learning and the decline of opportunities for educational opportunities outside the classroom; the barriers that deter schools from teaching outside the classroom, including perceptions of risks in school trips, the resources and curriculum time available for such trips, availability and costs involved; policy options for the Department for Education and Skills to help encourage schools improve and expand provision for outdoor learning; and funding implications. The Committees recommendations include that the DfES should issue a Manifesto for Outdoor Learning which gives all students the right to outdoor learning and which should attract a similar funding level to the music manifesto (around £30 million) in order to deliver real change.

The Association of Southeast Asian Institutions of Higher Learning (ASAIHL) has been playing an important role in educational development to promote innovative teaching, research and cooperation among institutions of higher learning. Build Bright University (BBU), Cambodia had organized the 2015 ASAIHL International Conference during 2-4 December at Siem Reap. The main theme of the conference was “Educational Access and Excellence”. However, I recommend you and every single reader of this and other books to carefully read every single subject, topic very well, before making any conclusion to agree or disagree. Majority of topics and subjects in this book are based on own personal experience and research. And no part of this book is a copy from any other text. However, I get some of my evidence and reference from the holy Quran and the tradition of Prophet Muhammad. You might read a book with an open mind, but the real-life events that took place and I highlighted some of them are always better to act on something you learn before it could happen to you or you might experience it before and you dont want it to happen to you again. I recommend for every reader to follow the best examples which I highlighted, majority of which will surely help you. Finally, if I said something that offended you, that is not my intention; my real and true intention is to help people in different level of society in regards to issues facing them. And sometimes it is almost impossible to make your point without using a reference and example that might sound offensive to someone; however, that is not the intention of most authors to offend the readers. I wish may God (Allah) make it easy for us to accept the truth and follow the right part to him. May Allah keep peace and his blessing hand on the soul of my mother and father who passed away, with the rest of Islamic community who passed away too. May Allah increase his peace and tranquillity on the legacy of Prophet Muhammad, his followers, and the rest of Islamic community and individuals. Why do disadvantaged students continue to get a poor deal as they progress through England’s education system? Challenging orthodox thinking about school exclusion, this book powerfully advocates for a fairer education system for disadvantaged students. It argues that the current conceptualisation of ‘exclusion’ – physically removing the student from the school – is insufficient. This approach fails to recognise the layers of exclusion that these students encounter. Students can be excluded within their schools (inner exclusion), not just from school (outer exclusion).
