Abstract: A review of the extensive literature concerning the administration of federal and state food stamp programs in the U.S. is presented in an annotated bibliography. Following an introduction providing a chronological overview of the topic, citations of printed references are classified within 7 subject areas: history of food stamp programs from the 1930's to 1961; background information on potential food stamps recipients; nutrition and food information; Pres.
