This volume contains the proceedings of the IFIPTM 2007, the Joint iTrust and PST Conferences on Privacy, Trust Management and Security, held in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada, in 2007. The annual iTrust international conference looks at trust from multidisciplinary perspectives: economic, legal, psychology, philosophy, sociology as well as information technology. This volume, therefore, presents the most up-to-date research on privacy, security, and trust management.

This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 9th International Workshop on Security and Trust Management, STM 2013, held in Egham, UK, in September 2013 - in conjunction with the 18th European Symposium Research in Computer Security (ESORICS 2013). The 15 revised full papers including two invited talks were carefully reviewed and selected from 47 submissions. The papers are organized into topical sections on policy enforcement and monitoring; access control; trust, reputation, and privacy; distributed systems and physical security; authentication and security policies.

The objective of this book is to report on contemporary trends in the defence research community on trust in teams, including inter- and intra-team trust, multi-agency trust and coalition trust. The book also considers trust in information and automation, taking a systems view of humans as agents in a multi-agent, socio-technical, community. The different types of trust are usually found to share many of the same emotive, behavioural, cognitive and social constructs, but differ in the degree of importance associated with each of them. Trust in Military Teams is written by defence scientists from the USA, Canada, Australia and the UK, under the auspices of The Transfer Cooperation Programme. It is representative of the latest thinking on trust in teams, and is written for defence researchers, postgraduate students, academics and practitioners in the human factors community.

This title was first published in 2001. In 1997 the author was told, by an official at the Korean embassy in Washington DC, that the most serious economic problem facing Korea was the need for reform of the financial sector. This proved to be true, as a financial crisis hit Korea in November 1997. Though problems arising before November 1997 indicate that Korea's economic problems were not solely financial. This study covers earlier reform efforts, the 1997 crisis and the measures taken by Korea since then to deal with the country's economic problems. It attempts to analyze the problems and offer suggestions as to how problems might corrected or resolved.
