The history of the prophet (Peace is upon him) is the best material of our children to read. This history narrates the life of the best and most perfect human being. His blessed life contains both religious and secular affairs. He gives us the best example of knowledge, mercy, justice, forgiveness and tolerance. Allah sent him to the Arabian Peninsula, and he revived a great nation, established a state and bought up true men. In a nutshell, he enlightened the entire world through Islam.

I was born and raised in Brooklyn NY. I am the oldest of 6 boys and presently live in Queens NY. I have been a registered nurse since 1993 and today I work as a visiting nurse. I am happily and thankfully married to DaRon Lamar Williams. In 1995 my signifi cant other died from complication of AIDS and during my grieving process I felt compelled to write the story of our life and my 1st year without him. My desire to write this book was inside of me for 14 years until I actually began writing. Now after 4 years of writing I am publishing for the world to read a sweet and tender love story and how I survived such heart-ache.

My name is Bertha Gallegos Allen. You will read how my husband and I took care of my mother and her husband's mother while we worked at the preschool. In the book, you will read parts that are sad, and you will also cry. You will laugh at what a child says and does. Some children are happy, some sad. Childcare is good for children because they are safe and they are loved. Some children are better at childcare than at home. I was thinking about writing this book a few years ago. My class at Murray High gets together twice a year with the girls Joyce Thompson Carter and Beryl Turner Morley, who work really hard at getting everything together so we can have lunch at different places. One of my classmates, Diane Barton Kuhre, got me going to write this book. She said, "You need to tell people about your life as a preschool and day-care provider. I know God had a plan for me. That was why I could not have children, and the plan to have a preschool to love hundreds of children.
