A Conservative S Primer On The Bible

eBook Download

BOOK EXCERPT:

This book is a rational attempt to document what is referred to in the Bible as worshipping "in truth." The approach is to first convince the reader that the Bible is the true word of God; that is is infallible; and that it is the only source of God's message to man that we are ever to get. With that accomplished, the scriptures are used to describe God's attributes, often by showing how God dealt with the various characters and peoples in events recounted in the Bible. Still using only scriptures to develop the narrative, it goes into God's selection of a particular people to prepare future Christians for the fulfillment of His plan for mankind. The need for salvation is revealed, and Jesus is presented to deliver salvation, to the eternal exaltation of Jesus. The conversion process whereby one goes from lost sinner to saved saint is described.

BOOK EXCERPT:

Wake Up, America! Thought-provoking new book espouses the ideals of conservatism to protect American interests Lone Pine, CA (Release Date TBD) With financial powerhouses going bankrupt or being sold, and America deep in the despair of an economic recession, there is something definitely wrong with our country today. The US Presidential elections is looming in the horizon, the chance to set this great nation back on track is an opportunity that should not be missed. Author and conservative thinker R.D. Cook enlightens readers with the problems besetting the US and proposals to correct them in this thought-provoking book, A Primer for Conservative Activism. R.D. Cook, who bills himself as An Everyday, Non-famous American, slams secular and socialist liberals in A Primer for Conservative Activism. Even some Republicans will feel his barbs as he exposes some of the more blatant abuses being forced on American citizens by all three branches of our government but more especially by the far left liberals in our society. This book identifies the problems in our country and proposes actions for conservatives and moderates to counter these erosions of the Constitution, our way of life, and national identity. Some of the areas addressed include the following: the tragedy of abortion rulings by the courts; the twisting of the meaning of the Constitution by the Supreme Court; the dangers of liberal indoctrination in our public schools; irresponsible government spending; taxes and their effects on our economy and society; the political and societal costs of illegal immigration; the dangers of Islamofascism; the misguided approach to climate change; and the true meaning of religion as intended by our Founding Fathers. Conservatives and moderates are encouraged throughout the pages of A Primer for Conservative Activism to become more informed and become activists in the conservative cause! So get a copy now. Religion, moral and ethical values were the backbone of the community and they were practiced in every level of the community at that time. Although I did not obtain a degree from college, I concentrated on the biological and physical sciences in high school and college. I joined the Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department and served there for 28 years, retiring as a sergeant in 1992. Since my retirement I have worked as a heavy equipment operator in Underground utility installation and also on wetland mitigation projects. Introduction To Bibliology

eBook Download

BOOK EXCERPT:

All serious Christians understand the importance of Bible study, but relatively few have a solid foundation in bibliology or an informed and thoughtful philosophy of the Bible. In Introduction to Bibliology, Jefrey Breshears explores issues of vital interest and concern to Christians and non-Christians alike regarding the content and authority of the Bible, including: - What is the Bible? If asked to define the Bible without using the familiar cliche, "The Bible is the written Word of God," how would you respond? - Does the Bible present a coherent, consistent, comprehensive, and compelling worldview and philosophy of life? - Is there a qualitative difference between the kind of inspiration that we encounter in Scripture and that which motivates gifted writers, speakers, preachers, composers, and artists to produce their works? - Why is it reasonable to believe that the Bible was supernaturally inspired? - What are the origins of the Bible, and how were the early manuscripts composed? - What were the criteria by which certain books were included or excluded from the Bible? - What are the basic principles that should guide our interpretation of Scripture? - How can we be confident that the Bible has been accurately preserved and transmitted through the centuries? In this substantive yet digestible study, Jefrey Breshears addresses these and many other issues and concerns that every Christian--and non-Christian--should know about the Bible.

It Did Happen Here The Rise Of Fascism In Contemporary Society

eBook Download

BOOK EXCERPT:

This book argues and demonstrates that fascism did happen in contemporary society such as especially America, as during post-2016. It classifies and discusses the main elements of fascism to see if these reveal and replicate themselves in America post-2016. It discovers the specific syndromes of fascism in America post-2016 that reveal and replicate universal fascist features. It detects the main social causes of fascism in America post-2016. It identifies primary counterforces to fascism in America and elsewhere. Lastly, the book constructs a composite fascism index and calculates fascism indexes for Western and comparable societies like OECD countries. These indexes provide suggestive evidence that fascism happened in America and other OECD countries, even if not in Western Europe, especially Scandinavia.

Evangelical Bible Doctrine

eBook Download

BOOK EXCERPT:

Over twenty-one faithful evangelical Bible teachers have joined together in this work to both honor the legacy of Dr. Mal Couch as well as to promote a solid, sacred, and safe theological manual for the body of Christ. Colleagues and friends of Dr. Couch, such as Dr. Wayne House, Dr. Norman Geisler, Dr. Arnold Fruchtenbaum, Dr. Timothy Demy, and more, along with many of Mals students and disciples, set forth in this work a biblical and practical theology. The first half of the book covers all twelve of the major biblical doctrines of Christianity. The last half covers some of the hottest theological topics and practical issues that present-day believers ought to be aware of in order to properly defend the faith. In chapter 25 you will meet many of the disciples in Christ that Mal taught over the years as they express their gratitude for this godly giant of the faith. So if you are curious about what a holistic evangelical faith looks like, and even curious as to how dispensationalism fits within orthodox evangelicalism, this book will provide for you a solid resource for many years to come.
