Origin On Trial

eBook Download

BOOK EXCERPT:

Do you know about the dark secrets in big evolution concerning the origin of the universe? Do you know that the Bible sets God's signature on his creation in the beginning? Not all fields of science are created equal. Some deal with past history rather than the present. Einstein's theory of gravity as curved spacetime is observable science. But some scientists use it with particle physics to tell a story of the origin of the universe. But can anyone see the moment of the Big Bang? Scientists themselves say the Big Bang model has big problems. The data they use to support their best model about the origin of the universe can also be used to undermine it. They started with A to build the model, but their data don't agree with A. Is there something fundamentally wrong? Great scientists make mistakes in science too. Hawking and others have made profound statements, but they don't always make sense. Big evolution has holes. It relies on deep time as god of the gap. Modern science began with Christians like Kepler and Galileo. They believed biblical creation had happened. It's time to bring science back to its genesis and the origin back to church.

No Apology Necessary Atheism Refuted Eternal Causal Intelligence Affirmed A Comprehensive Compendium Of Intelligent Refutations To Atheism

eBook Download

BOOK EXCERPT:

This book contains my writings, other apologetics writers, top scientists, thinkers, and scholars on the topics of Ontology, Evolutionary Theory, Theology, Biogenesis, Quantum Physics, Philosophy, Science, Physics, Scientism, and Epistemology, pertaining to the core topic of Refutations to Atheistic Materialism. Crucial to consider is the idea that it is not any one refutation or data point of evidence pointing to the plausibility of there being an Eternal Causal Intelligence that creates a case for the strong possibility of such an Eternal Causal Intelligence...a Creator. Rather, it is the summation of ALL such robust data points and proofs that culminates in an over-arching and inescapable conclusion that such a Creator is not only highly plausible, and therefore worthy of serious scientific, philosophic, and theological consideration, but moreover, to reject such a conclusion, based upon the cumulative data is tantamount to an overt confession of scientific malpractice and a glaring Naturalism biases.

Self Organization As A New Paradigm In Evolutionary Biology

eBook Download

BOOK EXCERPT:

The epistemological synthesis of the various theories of evolution, since the first formulation in 1802 with the transmission of the inherited characters by J.B. Lamarck, shows the need for an alternative synthesis to that of Princeton (1947). This new synthesis integrates the scientific models of self-organization developed during the second half of the 20th century based on the laws of physics, thermodynamics, and mathematics with the emergent evolutionary problematics such as self-organized memory. This book shows, how self-organization is integrated in modern evolutionary biology. It is divided in two parts: The first part pays attention to the modern observations in paleontology and biology, which include major theoreticians of the self-organization (d’Arcy Thompson, Henri Bergson, René Thom, Ilya Prigogine). The second part presents different emergent evolutionary models including the sciences of complexity, the non-linear dynamical systems, fractals, attractors, epigenesis, systemics, and mesology with different examples of the sciences of complexity and self-organization as observed in the human lineage, from both internal (embryogenesis-morphogenesis) and external (mesology) viewpoints.

Conflicting Models For The Origin Of Life

eBook Download

BOOK EXCERPT:

Conflicting Models for the Origin of Life Conflicting Models for the Origin of Life provides a forum to compare and contrast the many hypotheses that have been put forward to explain the origin of life. There is a revolution brewing in the field of Origin of Life: in the process of trying to figure out how Life started, many researchers believe there is an impending second creation of life, not necessarily biological. Up-to-date understanding is needed to prepare us for the technological, and societal changes it would bring. Schrodinger’s 1944 “What is life?” included the insight of an information carrier, which inspired the discovery of the structure of DNA. In “Conflicting Models of the Origin of Life” a selection of the world’s experts are brought together to cover different aspects of the research: from progress towards synthetic life – artificial cells and sub-cellular components, to new definitions of life and the unexpected places life could (have) emerge(d). Chapters also cover fundamental questions of how memory could emerge from memoryless processes, and how we can tell if a molecule may have emerged from life. Similarly, cutting-edge research discusses plausible reactions for the emergence of life both on Earth and on exoplanets. Additional perspectives from geologists, philosophers and even roboticists thinking about the origin of life round out this volume. The text is a state-of-the-art snapshot of the latest developments on the emergence of life, to be used both in graduate classes and by citizen scientists. Audience Researchers in any area of astrobiology, as well as others interested in the origins of life, will find a modern and current review of the field and the current debates and obstacles. This book will clearly illustrate the current state-of-the-art and engage the imagination and creativity of experts across many disciplines.
