These are the proceedings of the 2nd International Conference on Engineering Sciences and Technologies (ESaT 2016), held from 29th of June until the 1st of July 2016 in the scenic High Tatras Mountains, Tatranské Matliare, Slovak Republic. After the successful implementation and excellent feedback of the first international conference ESaT 2015, ESaT 2016 was organized under the auspices of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Technical University of Košice, Slovak Republic in collaboration with the University of Miskolc, Hungary. The conference focused on a wide spectrum of topics and subject areas in civil engineering sciences. The proceedings bringing new and original advances and trends in various fields of engineering sciences and technologies that accost a wide range of academics, scientists, researchers and professionals from universities and practice. These are the proceedings of the 3rd International Conference on Engineering Sciences and Technologies (ESaT 2018), held from 12th - 14th September 2018 in the High Tatras Mountains, Tatranské Matliare, Slovak Republic. ESaT 2018 was organized under the auspices of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Technical University of Košice - Slovak Republic in collaboration with Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University - Russia after the successful organization with excellent feedback of the previous international conferences ESaT 2015 and ESaT 2016. The proceedings is covering various topics and disciplines in civil engineering sciences, such as Buildings and Architectural Engineering, Bearing Structures, Material and Environmental Engineering, Construction Technology and Management, Building Physics and Facilities, Geodesy, Surveying and Mapping, Geotechnics and Traffic Engineering. The proceedings report on new and original progress and trends in various fields of engineering sciences that will be of interest to a wide range of academics and professionals from university and industry. 116 papers originating from more than 10 countries have been accepted for publication in the conference proceedings. Each accepted paper was reviewed by two reviewers, selected according to the scientific area and orientation of the paper, which guarantees topicality, quality and an advanced level of the presented results.

The International Conference on Emerging Trends in Engineering, Science and Technology (ICETEST) was held at the Government Engineering College, Thrissur, Kerala, India, from 18th to 20th January 2018, with the theme, “Society, Energy and Environment”, covering related topics in the areas of Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Architecture. Conflict between energy and environment has been of global significance in recent years. Academic research needs to support the industry and society through socially and environmentally sustainable outcomes. ICETEST 2018 was organized with this specific objective. The conference provided a platform for researchers from different domains, to discuss and disseminate their findings. Two-day National Conference on Recent Trends in Engineering, Science, Technology and Management (NCRTESTM-2017) provided a unique platform for academicians, teaching fraternity, scholars, students of technical education and industry experts to share & get benefited from mutual exchange of knowledge in the field of Engineering Science, Technology and Management. It is the first of its kind organized at Rajiv Gandhi Government Polytechnic, Itanagar in particular and in the State of Arunachal Pradesh in the field of Diploma Technical Education. This book constitutes the proceedings of the Third EAI International Conference on Intelligent Transport Systems, INTSYS 2019, which was held in Braga, Portugal, in December 2019. Food materials are processed prior to their consumption using different processing technologies that improve their shelf life and maintain their physicochemical, biological, and sensory qualities.
