This list has been prepared in an endeavor to supply information regarding the food habits, distribution, and relative importance of all the insects known or reported to be associated with stored grain or cereal products throughout the world.

This second supplement contains 110 names proposed between January 1, 1964, the cutoff date of the previous lists, and December 31, 1972. In addition, It includes eight generic names from a 1962 article, which was not available to the authors of the previous lists, and two names published in 1973 as replacements for preoccupied 1967 names.
