This proceeding contains selected papers of The International Seminar On Recent Language, Literature, And Local Culture Studies “Kajian Mutakhir Bahasa, Sastra, Dan Budaya Daerah (BASA)” held on 20-21 September 2019 in Solo, Indonesia. The conference which was organized by Sastra Daerah, Faculty of Cultural Sciences Universitas Sebelas Maret and Culture Studies Postgraduate Program of Universitas Sebelas Maret. The conference accommodates topics for linguistics in general including issues in language, literature, local cultural studies, philology, folklore, oral literature, history, art, education, etc. Selecting and reviewing process for the The International Seminar On Recent Language, Literature, And Local Culture Studies “Kajian Mutakhir Bahasa, Sastra, dan Budaya Daerah” was very challenging in that it needs a goodwill of those who were involved in such a process. More than ten experts were invited in reviewing, giving suggestions for revision and at last selecting the papers. On that account, we would like to forward our appreciation and our gratefulness to such invited experts for having done the process. The committee received more than 180 papers from the participants and based on the results of the review, only 141 papers were declared fit to be presented at the seminar and subsequently published in the proceedings of BASA#3-2019 Papers in the proceeding are expected to give academic benefits, especially in broadening the horizon of our understanding in language, literature, and local culture studies. We realize that what we are presenting for the publication is till far for being perfect. Constructive criticism is very much welcome for improvement. Finally, the committees thank for the participation and congratulate for the publication of the papers in the proceedings of BASA#3-2019. The committees also thank all those who have supported and actively participated for the success of this event. Hopefully these Proceedings can be used as references in developing technology and improving learning activities in the fields of education, social, arts and humanities.

The International Conference of Humanities and Social Science (ICHSS) 2021 aims to encourage and provide opportunities for researchers and academics to exchange views and opinions, answer and debate policy-relevant issues, and produce academic research outputs on important topics language. ICHSS is an Indonesian Language Education Doctoral Program Alumni Association program, Sebelas Maret University, Surakarta. The basic idea to encourage research in the linguistic sciences is to have maximum research impact on education, culture, social, arts and humanities, language and literature, religion, gender and children, and literacy. It also aims to improve coordination between academics & scholars, stakeholders and policymakers.

The 1th Seminar and Workshop for Education, Social Science, Art and Humanities (SEWORD FRESSH#1)-2019 has been held on April 27, 2019 in Universitas Sebelas Maret in Surakarta, Indonesia. SEWORD FRESSH#1-2019 is a conference to promote scientific information interchange between researchers, students, and practitioners, who are working all around the world in the field of education, social science, arts, and humanities to a common forum.

As an annual event, International Conference on Language, Literature, and Education in Digital Era (ICLLE) 2019 continued the agenda to bring together researcher, academics, experts and professionals in examining selected theme by language, literature and education in digital era. In 2019, this event held in 19-20 July 2019 at Padang, Indonesia. The conference from any kind of stakeholders related with Language and literature especially in education. Each contributed paper was refereed before being accepted for publication. The double-blind peer reviewed was used in the paper selection.

Proceedings of the 5th International Conference on Education in Muslim Society (ICEMS) contain papers from researchers, academicians, teachers, school principals, government agencies, and consultants in various fields of education, social sciences, humanities, Arabic and English linguistics. There were 110 full papers submitted and after reviewed by at least two reviewers, 39 of them are successfully published in the proceedings. The articles were submitted and presented at the 5th ICEMS held by Faculty of Educational Sciences (FITK) supported by Center for Research and Community Service (LP2M) UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. The 5th ICEMS centers on the issue of creativity and innovation in teaching and learning, a crucial issue to be discussed to improve the teaching and learning quality which in turn ultimately raise the overall education quality. This is an open access book. The COVID-19 pandemic in the last two years has influenced how educational system works. Online learning became the primal policy taken by all institutions in the world to lower the risk of the virus spread. Despite the drawbacks of the online learning, teachers and students were accustomed with the distant learning through web meetings, Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other online learning platforms. In that time, topics under digital learning and education 5.0 were the main stakes in academic disseminations. This year some institutions start to conduct their teaching and learning process classically as before the pandemic, others are still continuing online and not few are in hybrid. This leaves a question: what learning reform should be made in post-pandemic era? This conference invites researchers, experts, teachers and students to discuss the coping solutions of the question. It is important for them to contribute to the understanding of re-imaging online education for better futures, innovative learning design, new skills for living and working in new times, global challenge of education, learning and teaching with blended learning, flipped learning, integrating life skills for students in the curriculum, developing educators for the future distance learning, humanities learning in the digital era, assessment and measurement in education, challenges and transformations in education, technology in teaching and learning, new learning and teaching models.
