BOOK EXCERPT:
Before the Cock Crows is a prophetic look into the spiritual eyes of the bride of Christ in her slow decline into apostasy. In her naiveté, God’s beloved boldly boasts how she will never forsake the Lord. Yet her reflection in the mirror at this time bears a striking resemblance to the apostle Peter in the precise moments prior to his denying our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, not once, but on three separate occasions. This book is biblical in nature with a solid backbone of scriptures to back up and support the heavy weight of such critical subject matter as what will be the role of the Holy Spirit of God as compared to Christian believers during the time of the rule of the Antichrist; an explanation of what the mark on the forehead of God’s sheep is; God’s holy temples present, past, and future; how to spiritually eat the word of God; why a solo and intimate walk with God is so imperative in these latter days; spiritual transformation and renewal; and lastly, how all of these topics tie into the upcoming apostasy predicted by Jesus Christ so very long ago. Indeed, the cock will crow for the Christian Church, just as it crowed for Peter so very long ago. Although there have been many books published on the subject of apostasy throughout the years, Before the Cock Crows not only forewarns against and prepares its readers for the upcoming apostasy, but also teaches them how to develop a deep and intimate relationship with God along the way. This book is meant to reach a broad Christian audience, but more importantly this book was meant for such a time as this.

BOOK EXCERPT:
For a long time mainstream gospel scholarship has assumed that the so-called Q material (the "double tradition") in Matthew and Luke represents a document or tradition that was almost exclusively orientated towards the sayings of Jesus of Nazareth, with little interest in a narrative about him. This book argues, on the contrary, that the narrative material in the double tradition existed from the very beginning within a coherent Jesus narrative that ran from his baptism to his passion. Far from being inserted by Matthew and Luke into the framework of Mark, the double tradition is structured on the very same narrative framework as the Gospel of Mark (a framework that predates Mark). Conventional dichotomies in gospel origins, the historical Jesus, and the history of early Christianity are thus drawn into question.

BOOK EXCERPT:
This is volume one of a five volume effort, by one of History's greatest commentator's on the Gospels. This work is written for one who does have a fluid knowledge of philosophy, not alone Thomas Aquinas. What this accomplishes is to provide a modern version of the Catena Aurea-Golden Chain in today's verbiage and related issues, while in keeping with the flow and content of the original. Aquinas is one who regardless of your placement on your spiritual journey. Aquinas is the basis for so much of what we have come to regard as dogma. Mathew's size demands that we provide it in two books. All commentators, have been noted in Bold, with their respective cited treatise is italicized. Added 60 additional footnotes regarding variant Proper Nouns. Added 1400 lines of End Notes, of coordinated references, of the other variant Church Fathers who have also remarked on the Scriptures, housed in the ANF, NF and PNF Series. The Latin phrases/text cited have been translated into English.

BOOK EXCERPT:
Almost every person has owned a pet at one time or another in life or known someone who has. In all world religions, animals serve as spirit guides; there is spirituality to animal and human dialogue. Animals have the ability to help us reach wholeness if we learn their wisdom and integrate it into our lives. This abecedarian--a book whose contents are in alphabetical order--explores the spiritual growth that is possible by reflecting on the wisdom of creatures, which serve as spirit guides in all world religions and help humans experience the divine. The author explores animal spirit guides in the Bible, The Quran, The Dhammapada, The Rig Veda, The Analects of Confucius, stories from Aesop and Grimm, and much more. In these pages you can explore bears and bees, eagles and elephants, ravens and roosters, tadpoles and turtles, and many more. For each of the thirty-two entries, the author presents a text identifying the animal spirit guide, a reflective study, a question for journaling or personal meditation, and a concluding prayer. The spiritual life can be nourished in many ways; in this book it is enhanced by animal spirit guides.
