The murder weapon was a sharp knife with a blade width of about two centimeters. The murderer carefully cleaned the scene after the crime. The police have not found the murder weapon so far. Barrett previously claimed that his wife provided him with methamphetamine, which led to his loss of control and memory. Prosecutor Quinnyn said that a large number of photos and videos were corroborating evidence, a series of actions proved that Barrett was "savvy and capable".
