BOOK EXCERPT:

This bold, stark manifesto offers more than just an introductory insight into the crypto technology known as, Dero; it's a clarion call to those who dare to challenge the status quo, to those who scrutinise the monolithic power of banks and government with a critical eye. In a world teeming with uncertainty, where the digital and financial landscapes are constantly evolving, Dero Rising - The Crypto-Rebel's Guide to Financial Freedom emerges as a beacon for the disenfranchised, a guide for the rebels in the digital age. Drawing inspiration from the gritty resilience and the do-or-die ethos of Fallout's wasteland survivors, this book is not merely about cryptocurrency; it's a testament to the indomitable human spirit in the face of tyranny. With the crypto-rebellion gaining momentum, this book finds its place at the forefront, offering readers not just a glimpse into the obscure world of completely anonymous crypto at protocol level but furnishing them with the tools to wrestle their freedom from the jaws of an oppressive financial system. This is not just another cryptocurrency manuscript; it's a blueprint for insurgency, designed for those who feel cornered by the arbitrary rules of a rigged game they never agreed to play. Dero Rising also delves deep into the impending destruction of the American empire, the looming collapse of the dollar, and the all-seeing eye of the surveillance state that watches our every move, edging us closer to a digital tyranny with each passing day. The book argues that we're not just at the brink of a financial revolution but standing at a historical crossroads, where the fight for privacy, freedom, and autonomy against an increasingly autocratic regime is more critical than ever. The battle for your freedom is already underway, highlighting the urgent need to act against the encroaching shadows of oppression. Will you join the ranks and stand tall in the face of impending tyranny? The time to choose sides in this grand struggle is now. As we found out in the revelations from the film The Jones Plantation: "Slavery never went away, it was just rebranded as politics". Seize this moment to arm yourself with knowledge, to part the veils of deception and gaze into the unvarnished truth that Dero Rising offers. This is your rallying cry to break free from the invisible chains that bind you, to reclaim what has always been rightfully yours—your freedom, your privacy, your power. The battle lines are drawn—are you brave enough to take a stand?

Dreams Of An Empty Tomb

BOOK EXCERPT:

Mistrenelle A city of law and peace, the center of the world. It is a city-kingdom protected by the mysterious Witch Hunters, ruled by those who threw off the shackles of magic. Only the nightly witch hunts remain as a reminder of the horrors of that time, when the streets are lit by spells, and run red with the blood of Hunter and Mancer alike. The Violet Night Eighteen years ago, the city glowed violet as a powerful necromancer enacted the ultimate ritual. Her army of undead clashed with the Witch Hunters in the most violent event since the Uprising. The blood stains the mind of Prince Destrivel Orophos still. It is, and has been ever since that night, his aspiration to become a Witch Hunter. But he is a royal, and worse, a male, destined to be married off as a trophy. His warrior training meant little in this time of peace, and his souls seeks something to break the shackles of duty and station that have held him all these years.

Rising Power Limited Influence

BOOK EXCERPT:

This is an open access title available under the terms of a CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 International licence. It is free to read on the Oxford Academic platform and offered as a free PDF download from OUP and selected open access locations. China's resurgence has spawned anxieties about an impending revision of the Liberal International Order. Drawing on case studies of Chinese investments across Europe, the contributors to this volume investigate the ways in which China translates its growing resources into effective influence, with varying degrees of success. They find that influence is most effectively achieved by harnessing the agency of states and societies in Europe towards China's preferences. Fragmented and messy rather than unified and coherent, these preferences comprise an amalgam of domestic, regional, and international considerations rather than aimed at revising world order. Nevertheless, as the contributors to this volume demonstrate, the interaction of European agency and Chinese preferences could have a variety of unintended consequences that range from straining the Liberal International Order to strengthening it. Against narratives that foreground inevitable conflict or assured cooperation, Rising Power, Limited Influence innovates a dynamic framework to understand the granular ways in which states and societies in Europe interact with state and society in China to (re-)shape the Liberal International Order. Its contribution is three-fold. Conceptually, it offers a relational definition of power that pinpoints attention to the ways in which China translates its growing investments in Europe towards influencing the preferences of host countries. Empirically, it outlines the different modalities through which China harnesses the agency of European countries towards its own (fragmented) preferences. Theoretically, the book introduces a dynamic framework to understand the interaction between state-society relations in China with state-society relations in European countries to comprehensively appreciate the extent, limits, and modalities of resurgent China's global influence.
