Cy Richard King was born March 31, 1931 in Wooster, Wayne County, Ohio. His parents were Mathias Hixson King (b. 1910) and Vemba Eleen White (1914-1991). Primarily traces his father's lines in Pennsylvania and Ohio and his maternal grandmother's Mc Reynolds' lines in Virginia and Indiana. Ancestors, Descendants and relatives also lived in Kentucky, Illinois, Missouri, Texas, Kansas and elsewhere.
