One is baptism, and the other is Holy Communion. We take part in Communion to ruminate on the gospel of Truth revealed through its bread and wine, in remembrance of this gospel. In the rite of Holy Communion, we eat the bread in remembrance of the flesh of Jesus, and drink the wine as the ceremony of His blood. As such, the real meaning of Holy Communion is to strengthen our faith in the Truth that Jesus has saved us from the sins of the world and given us everlasting life through His baptism and His death on the Cross. However, the problem is that almost all Christians take part in Holy Communion only formally, without even realizing what Jesus meant by the phrase, "My flesh is food indeed, and My blood is drink indeed"(John 6:55). Therefore, within the gospel of the water and the Spirit, we need to once again focus on the meaning of Jesus' commandment to eat His flesh and drink His blood, and believe in it. Amen, I Say to You includes homilies for Cycles A, B, and C of the liturgical year, and a homily for each Holy Day of Obligation within the Roman Catholic Church. Each homily consist of three main points with supporting examples and illustrations. These are homilies I have preached, and they have been constructed with attention to verbal presentation. Another homilist easily should be able to substitute or include examples from his or her own pastoral or lived experience within the conceptual structure each homily provides. These homilies are not essays; they include no long, convoluted, hard to understand sentences. I try for simplicity of words and sentences, for concrete language everyone can understand. Feedback from posting some of the homilies on the internet has characterized the homilies as well planned, with ideas placed in a logical and precise order. They have been called simple, personal, and practical; very inspired and insightful; containing deep reflection and authentic Christian faith; and illustrative, applied and down to earth practical.

This study explores the dynamics of violence within John's Gospel, focusing on the portrayal of the character of Jesus. It offers an understanding of the Johannine Jesus that counters the traditional model of a serene figure who maintains sovereign control over his environment. Establishing the prevalence of material indicating opposition to Jesus, it argues that his experience and perception of victimization are key to his identity. Furthermore, it is suggested that Jesus colludes with his victimizers, raising the issue of who is responsible for his betrayal and death. Drawing on the disciplines of victimology, literary criticism and liberation theology, the work comprises targeted exegesis of substantial portions of the Gospel, revealing the prominence of the theme of violence and raising a number of christological questions.

Another book in the series of theological interpretations of the Seventh Day Adventists, this book cover the life and ministry of Jesus and she tells quite a different story about Jesus compared to the rest of her contemporaries since she heavily relies on mystical experience in order to make her theological conclusions. Like her other books this one has been fought against by theologians in all times but helps to make us realize what is God's truth.
