The encyclopedia is being produced by John Wiley & Sons in collaboration with the American Institute of Architects. It contains approximately 500 articles, representing the efforts of 600 contributors, and totals over 4000 pages. In addition to approximately 3000 illustrations, the encyclopedia contains 500 tables and 100 biographies of leading architectural professionals.
