Follow two authors as they struggle together to write the perfect historical sexy romance. Their heroine runs away from home, escaping an abusive uncle, and tries to hide in 18th-Century London. She takes a job in a West End Gentlemen’s Club, something that destroys her polite reputation forever but does let her explore the highest levels of London society. In particular, she is introduced to the notorious Sir Francis Dashwood and his Hellfire Club. Even with her new friends, she is not safe from her uncle and she is forced to flee to Charles Town in the New World, where she builds a new life. An intriguing story, with pirates and a highwayman on the one hand, and on the other, two modern authors working their way through the details of an exciting period in history. Fast moving and good fun, but a tale with some depth.
