Fellowship With The Holy Spirit

eBook Download

BOOK EXCERPT:

No one can enjoy the benefits of something he ignores. The same principle applies with the Holy Spirit: you cannot enjoy his works when you do not know him. Therefore the Holy Spirit came so that you may fellowship with Him; He is the best Teacher, the best Reminder, the best Visionary Leader, He Renews and increases God's Power in us, He is the Lord of the Harvest, He is the Spirit without Limit and everything He does in you and through you is to Glorify Jesus. When you fellowship with the Holy Spirit, He brings to your attention: things never seen, never heard and never conceived by human mind, so that you may be fruitful here on earth and live the purpose for which God created you.

Fellowship With The Holy Spirit

eBook Download

BOOK EXCERPT:

We all want fellowship. We feel sad when we get lonely. We all want a relationship with God, but how many of us know how to really fellowship with the Holy Spirit? Multitudes of believers never develop a relationship with the very one who dwells inside of them. So many of us feel like orphans all alone with no Father, no one to guide and help us through life. He wants to reveal the deep things of God to us (1 Cor. 2:9). He wants to give us His power and strength. A lady went to a jeweler to get her watch fixed. He disappeared and came back quickly with her watch running perfectly. She asked him, “How could you fix it in such a short time?” He told her that it only needed a small battery. All this time the lady had been trying to wind the watch. She didn’t know she only needed a battery to keep it running.

A Fellowship Of Baptism

eBook Download

BOOK EXCERPT:

A Fellowship of Baptism is a critical rereading of Karl Barth's ecclesiology, arguing that reading his ecclesiology through the lens of his mature view of baptism best enables one to understand Barth's view of the church. Barth's insistence on believer's baptism is connected to the free-church ecclesiology he develops in the Church Dogmatics. The church, for Barth, is a gathered, concrete community formed by the Holy Spirit. The result of believer's baptism should be a community that is free from cultural and political control so that it can serve the world and witness to it. At the same time, questions are raised about Barth's rejection of the sacramental nature of baptism and the implications this has for ecclesiology. The strengths of believer's baptism and the weakness of his non-sacramental view are both seen in his writings on the church and are brought into conversation with one another. Reading Barth's ecclesiology and doctrine of baptism together helps to show the interdependence of baptism and ecclesiology in Barth as well as in all church teaching and practice.

Pilgrim Fellowship Of Faith

eBook Download

BOOK EXCERPT:

Joseph Ratzinger, now Pope Benedict XVI, has been the most visible member of the Catholic clergy in the world second only to Pope John Paul II. His status as the head of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith made him one of the most discussed churchmen in recent history. On the occasion of Ratzingers's seventy-fifth birthday, his former students selected essays, lectures, letters, and conferences that Ratzinger has written in recent years- writing that they feel best represents his position on issues of theology, the modern world, secularism, non-Christian religious, and other key topics of the Catholic Church. This book, characterized by Ratzinger's concisely reasoned style, is an invaluable resource to those who wish to understand the modern Church and the thinking of Pope Benedict XVI, as well as a treasured volume for those who are students of Ratzinger's theology.

Fellowship In The Spirit

eBook Download

BOOK EXCERPT:

Before the fall of man, when Adam walked in fellowship with God in the Garden of Eden, he experienced God’s glory with a spiritual connection. He had a perfect relationship with God and saw Him face-to-face. When Adam disobeyed God and fell, everything changed. He died spiritually and his connection to the spirit realm of God was severed. With his spiritual eyes now closed, he was left with a soul and a body of flesh. Adam’s ability to see into the spirit realm was gone, and the glory that had rested upon his physical body was gone as well. In this book, you will see what fellowship in the Spirit is, and how God has restored this relationship with His children. God wants us to know Him personally, not just know about Him. He wants a face-to-face relationship with us. You are invited to see and experience what spiritual life in the presence of God can be.
