Faith and all which accompanies religion like regular church attendance and a belief that there is something greater here, someone present, informs our decisions and choices, even our goals. Just so, its absence widens all boundaries. More and more is acceptable. This, at times, brutally honest story of the reasons for Wilder's walk away from God, then years later, return, cannot fail to provoke and challenge. Her decision to reveal intimate and painful details of the life lived during the years she refers to as 'lost' will cause even the most devoutly faithful reader to take a peek at the shadows of the self we hide from the world and from ourselves. Writing this book has been a journey of spiritual and emotional cleansing and healing for me. I needed to write it as much for myself as for others. My goal was to write this book in a way that points others to Christ. It begins where I begin! Beginning with the day I was born and up to present day, showing how God's hand was on my life through it all. I have been transparent about the ugly things that have been done to me and that I have done to myself. My desire is to give others the tools to free themselves from Satan's hold and how to remain free. I have made some poor choices in my life. I want people to know that no matter how far they have walked away from God, it only takes one step to come back to Him. Many people struggle with feelings of loneliness every day. It is my goal to help them see that they are never alone. God is always with them and has great love for them. So great, in fact, that He sent His Son to die for them on Calvary. When under attack by Satan, we can find strength in the Lord. More than any other time in history, marriages are under attack. Divorce rates are skyrocketing. I want people to know that freedom is not in divorce but in the Lord and the finished work on the cross at Calvary. My heartfelt prayer is that through this devotional others will draw closer to God.

Our Book called The Narrow Path Of God is basically about teaching people the authentic gospel of Jesus Christ and explaining to people what it really feels like to walk this narrow path with Jesus because a lot of people have their own perception about what Christianity is and what it's about. Some people think that Christianity is about prosperity and blessings, some believe that Christianity is about going to church every Sunday and throughout the rest of the week they can live how they want to live, but the true disciples of Christ really knows the true definition of being a Christian. It's not about the benefits and the blessings, it's not about seeing how far you can get away with sin and still be in the Lord, it's not about being apart of a Christian organization and calling yourself a Christian because you have a title in the church it's about enduring till the end, denying yourself, and truly submitting to God's purpose for your life. Jesus said that 'the way leading to life is narrow and those who are finding it are few' (Matthew 7 v 14). Having come through the narrow gate, what direction are Christians called to take in their life journey? Exactly what is it that Christians are called to do in their daily lives? Many Christians consider that the answer is fairly easy and straightforward. They say that Christians are called to focus on living a 'godly life' - but what does that actually mean in practical terms? Does it mean going to church every Sunday to worship and praise God? Does it mean seeking an experience of the presence of God, or 'spiritual gifts' so as to be empowered to 'walk in the Spirit'? Does it mean 'getting going and getting involved' in attending fellowship Bible studies and prayer meetings, and helping out with fellowship activities such as Evangelism projects, or maintaining the church website, or helping out in the youth club or pre-school coffee mornings and so on? Does it mean getting involved in local community and charity work? Does it mean looking to the Ten Commandments and using God's Law as personal ideals and resolutions so as to be 'spurred on' to do what God commands? Does it mean withdrawing from the world, not going to nightclubs, not watching movies, not going to bars and works parties so as to become like a hermit in order not to be 'led astray' by ungodliness? Does God have a specific, individual, personal plan for each and every Christian? If so, how do Christians find out what that specific plane for them actually is?
