BOOK EXCERPT:
Blink once and you enter the world. Blink twice and your life is over. Compared to Eternity, our lives go by in a blink. In that short space of time, what did God design for our lives? He designed us to fulfill a great Destiny-far greater than most people ever realize or fulfill. Footprints in Time will take you on a great journey of discovery that will inspire, challenge and encourage you to seek, find and fulfill the great Destiny you were created for. You will be inspired by the lives of men and women, just like you, with faults and fears, just like you. You will be amazed at how God took their simple willingness and fulfilled His great will. You will be challenged to see the idols that now rule countless hearts in our culture and how they are keeping so many from their heavenly promise. Finally, you will be encouraged to ask yourself, "If God could do it with these other men and women, why can't He do it with me?" Footprints in Time: Fulfilling God's Destiny for your Life will change how you view your hours, days and years and the way you spend them. It will inspire you to lift up your eyes and fulfill your heavenly destiny.

BOOK EXCERPT:
This book traces the footprints of the Lenape-Delaware Indians across the continent and centers on a culture which occupied a four state region of the Northeast. The initial written documentation describing their way of life was supplied by eleven seventeenth century observers from four nationalities. In the next century, religious missionaries recorded their changing society as it faced the tide of immigration flooding into their homelands. Without their written information, this book could never have been completed.

Footprints in Time: Memoirs of Previous Lifetimes By: Diana Elmore Have you ever wondered where the past years are? Enter the fascinating worlds of author, Diana Elmore, where life, death, romance, adventure and fascinating characters of the ancient world come alive as though it were yesterday. Vibrant and alluring, these stories will touch your heart as they take you to places that no longer exist, but can only be found in memories. It seemed to be a place dear to the earth. Kato said it was the home of sacred spirits who dwelled there, and I could feel them watching us as we passed through, hardly daring to speak or even to breathe in their lofty presence. – Rising Sun I had learned that the rich and powerful want what they want, when they want it. Now that I had my order to mingle, I paraded myself like a peacock. It was not an unpleasant task to show off my beauty with ways I knew so well. – The Romans I glanced through the trees trying to catch sight of the house. What if it were no longer standing – burned to the ground in some long-ago tragedy? – Homecoming Who can flaunt Youth more innocently, irresponsibly and extravagantly than the young? The wisdom of the sage fades by comparison, and old bodies are best covered up. – The Art of Sacred Cleaning Little did I know that I would soon be carried away on the journey of a life time. – The Scribe If so many men adored me, who was I not to adore them? – The Story of Lily

BOOK EXCERPT:
Maxine Samuels is a research scientist who is driven to answer a single burning question: why has humanity’s spiritual connection to a higher power practically disappeared? Furthermore, what will happen if this connection can’t be restored? As she examines her world for an answer, she realizes that power, fear, greed, corruption, and shame have been used throughout history to control people and to prevent them from connecting to the oneness of the world. This is the cause of all the conflict, anger, war, and strife we observe, and will eventually lead to the demise of humanity. However, she strongly believes that a flicker of spirituality still exists. She hopes to fan it into flame before it goes out, and humanity is lost in the dark. Maxine is certain that the keys to the future lie in the past. She engineers a means to time travel by combining modern science with spirituality and then travels back to places where humanity lost its way. She hopes to use this knowledge to nudge civilization back into spiritual alignment in the present. The deeper she delves into these mysteries, the more she begins to wonder if it’s possible to travel to the past without leaving any footprints, and she realizes she may be in danger of irreversibly altering the very future that she is trying to save. At the same time, she realizes that others may already be traveling to the past, but with a desire to change things for their own benefit.

BOOK EXCERPT:
How to interpret meteorological measurements made at a given level over a surface with regard to characteristic properties such as roughness, albedo, heat, moisture, carbon dioxide, and other gases is an old question which goes back to the very beginnings of modern micrometeorology. It is made even more challenging when it is unclear whether these measurements are only valid for this point/region and precisely describe the conditions there, or if they are also influenced by surrounding areas. After 50 years of field experiments, it has become both apparent and problematic that meteorological measurements are influenced from surfaces on the windward side. As such, extending these measurements for inhomogeneous experimental sites requires a quantitative understanding of these influences. When combined with atmospheric transport models similar to air pollution models, the ‘footprint’ concept – a fundamental approach introduced roughly 20 years ago – provides us with information on whether or not the condition of upwind site homogeneity is fulfilled. Since these first models, the development of more scientifically based versions, validation experiments and applications has advanced rapidly. The aim of this book is to provide an overview of these developments, to analyze present deficits, to describe applications and to advance this topic at the forefront of micrometeorological research.
