Ageing is the main reason for most neurodegenerative diseases, including Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and Parkinson’s disease (PD). Romanian ethnomedicinal knowledge extends as far back as the 16th century to the Geto-Dacian priests who used medicinal plants and practiced integrated holistic medicine.
