Neutrosophic Statistics means statistical analysis of population or sample that has indeterminate (imprecise, ambiguous, vague, incomplete, unknown) data. For example, the population or sample size might not be exactly determinate because of some individuals that partially belong to the population or sample, and partially they do not belong, or individuals whose appurtenance is completely unknown. Also, there are population or sample individuals whose data could be indeterminate. In this book, we develop the 1995 notion of neutrosophic statistics. We present various practical examples. It is possible to define the neutrosophic statistics in many ways, because there are various types of indeterminacies, depending on the problem to solve.

Cognitive Intelligence with Neutrosophic Statistics in Bioinformatics investigates and presents the many applications that have arisen in the last ten years using neutrosophic statistics in bioinformatics, medicine, agriculture and cognitive science. In this paper, we prove that Neutrosophic Statistics is more general than Interval Statistics, since it may deal with all types of indeterminacies (with respect to the data, inferential procedures, probability distributions, graphical representations, etc.), it allows the reduction of indeterminacy, and it uses the neutrosophic probability that is more general than imprecise and classical probabilities and has more detailed corresponding probability density functions. While Interval Statistics only deals with indeterminacy that can be represented by intervals. And we respond to the arguments by Woodall et al. [1]. We show that not all indeterminacies (uncertainties) may be represented by intervals. Also, in some cases, we should better use hesitant sets (that have less indeterminacy) instead of intervals. We redirect the authors to the Plithogenic Probability and Plithogenic Statistics which are the most general forms of MultiVariate Probability and Multivariate Statistics respectively (including, of course, the Imprecise Probability and Interval Statistics as subclasses).

This book addresses new concepts, methods, algorithms, modeling, and applications of green supply chain, inventory control problems, assignment problems, transportation problem, linear problems and new information related to optimization for the topic from the theoretical and applied viewpoints of neutrosophic sets and logic. The book is an innovatory of new tools and procedures, such as: Neutrosophic Statistical Tests and Dependent State Samplings, Neutrosophic Probabilistic Expert Systems, Neutrosophic HyperSoft Set, Quadripartitioned Neutrosophic Cross-Entropy, Octagonal and Spherical and Cubic Neutrosophic Numbers used in machine learning. It highlights the process of neutrosofication {which means to split the universe into three parts, two opposite ones (Truth and Falsehood), and an Indeterminate or neutral one (I) in between them}. It explains Three-Ways Decision, how the universe set is split into three different distinct areas, in regard to the decision process, representing: Acceptance, Noncommitment, and Rejection, respectively. The Three-Way Decision is used in the Neutrosophic Linguistic Rough Set, which has never been done before.

The main purpose of this article is to develop and study the notion of interval-valued neutrosophic subring. Also, we have studied some homomorphic characteristics of interval-valued neutrosophic subring. Again, we have defined the concept of product of two interval-valued neutrosophic subrings and analyzed some of its important properties. Furthermore, we have developed the notion of interval-valued neutrosophic normal subring and studied some of its basic characteristics and homomorphic properties.

The main objective of this special issue is to divulge the applicability of the Neutrosophic Theory and to explore the possibilities and advantages of neutrosophic tools, through both the presentation of thorough research and case studies in solving social problems in Latin America. The best presentations discussed at the III International Congress of Educational Research and University Innovation, turned into papers, show us the capacity for socialization of neutrosophic knowledge and its link with this science of validation and consolidation of scientific knowledge. This publication with authors from 11 countries that we place in the hands of the international scientific community, constitutes an example of how in Latin America the Neutrosophy is contributing to complex solutions based on the results of scientific research carried out by teachers and students committed to the social responsibility of continuing to progress for the benefit of humanity.

Neutrosophy as science has inclusive attributes that make possible to extract the contributions of neutral values in the analysis of data sets; it builds a unified field of logic for transdisciplinary studies that transcend the boundaries between natural and social sciences. Neutral philosophy seeks to solve the problems of indeterminacy that appear universally, to reform the current natural or social sciences, with an open methodology to promote innovation. The research products related in this special issue start from the premise that the difficulty is not the complexity of the social environment, but the instrumental obsolescence to observe, interpret and manage that complexity, there are bold approaches and proposals for valid solutions that come to enrich the universe of resolution through the use of neutral methods. In the last year, the use of tools related to neutrosophy and its application to the social sciences, modeling of social phenomena based on simulation agents, problems associated with health, psychology, education, environmental management and sustainability solutions and legal sciences has increased in the events organized by the Asociacion Latinoamericana de Ciencias Neutrosoficas (ALCN in Spanish). The methods of higher incidence are cognitive maps, neutral Iadovs, neutral Delphi, analytical hierarchy process methods, neutral statistics, neutral personality models, among the most significant. In this special issue, there is a predominance of research from Ecuadorian universities, demonstrating how neutrosophy and its methods are consolidated as instruments of analysis, inference and research validation.
