This book is about life and how to get the best out of life. It reminds us that life is the most beautiful gift of nature and we should make the best out of our life. It educates us on how to maintain the best balance in life to have maximum happiness and satisfaction in life. It tells us that a lot of us focus completely on our work and just sacrifice everything else in life, but we should not forget that despite work as a very important part of our life, it is still a part and not the whole life. If we just focus on our work only, it will create imbalance in our life, and our personal life will be full of stress, and as a result, our professional life will also suffer. Balanced life will allow us the luxury to be satisfied and successful in the two most important aspects of our life, personal and professional. The modern cutthroat global competition forces us to forget about really living life full of happiness, and we are just busy in living. A balanced life should be in which we value all aspects of our life and not just one aspect and ignore all other things and create an imbalance in our life, affecting not only our own personal life but also the lives of important people around us. Imbalance in life will increase our pressures and stresses, and a balanced life will bring peace of mind and will soothe us and we will be full of energy and motivation. We should be really thankful for all gifts our Creator has gifted us in our life and in the world around us. This beautiful gift of life can be made more beautiful by creating a beautiful balance in our life.

In this issue we will continue four lines of ministry. The first line--The History of the Lord's Recovery--contains chapters 14 through 17 of Fellowship concerning the Urgent Need of the Vital Groups, which are in volume 3 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1991–1992. These chapters cover vital points concerning the vital group practice, an earnest talk concerning the practice of the vital groups, being burdened with God's loving concern for sinners and with converting sinners into members of Christ for the carrying out of God's economy, and fellowship concerning the living contents of the vital groups. The second line--Words for New Believers--contains chapters 9 through 12 of Crucial Truths in the Holy Scriptures, Volume 1, which are in volume 3 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1932–1949. These chapters cover topics related to justification, reconciliation, regeneration, and eternal life. The third line--Maturing in Life--continues with chapters 3 through 6 of Reward and Punishment, which are in volume 3 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1955. These chapters cover various aspects of the gospel revealed in the Gospels and Acts, God setting aside a portion of His salvation as a reward, reward and punishment in the New Testament, and the time, duration, and intention of reward and punishment. The fourth line--The High Peak of the Divine Revelation--continues with chapters 2 through 5 of God's New Testament Economy, which are in volume 3 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1984. These chapters cover the Word's incarnation and the Son's living on the earth, the Son's death in His humanity with His divinity through the Spirit, and the Son's resurrection in His divinity with His humanity.

Life is profoundly beautiful, blessed, fascinating, and gracious, if we could just make its fundamentals our focus. The Life-Leader, Jesus Christ, speaks of this at Matthew 6: 33 saying, "So don't worry at all about having enough food and clothing. Why be like the heathen? For they take pride in all these things and are deeply concerned about them. But your heavenly Father already knows perfectly well that you need them, and he will give them to you if you give him first place in your life and live as he wants you to." ( Matthew 6: 31-33.)Moses also called the attention of the nation of Israel to this saying, "If you listen obediently to the Voice of God, your God, and heartily obey all his commandments that I command you today, God, your God, will place you on high, high above all the nations of the world. All these blessings will come down on you and spread out beyond you because you have responded to the Voice of God, your God: God's blessing inside the city, God's blessing in the country;God's blessing on your children, the crops of your land, the young of your livestock, the calves of your herds, the lambs of your flocks.God's blessing on your basket and bread bowl;God's blessing in your coming in, God's blessing in your going out.God will defeat your enemies who attack you. They'll come at you on one road and run away on seven roads.God will order a blessing on your barns and workplaces; he'll bless you in the land that God, your God, is giving you.God will form you as a people holy to him, just as he promised you, if you keep the commandments of God, your God, and live the way he has shown you.All the peoples on Earth will see you living under the Name of God and hold you in respectful awe.God will lavish you with good things: children from your womb, offspring from your animals, and crops from your land, the land that God promised your ancestors that he would give you. God will throw open the doors of his sky vaults and pour rain on your land on schedule and bless the work you take in hand. You will lend to many nations but you yourself won't have to take out a loan. God will make you the head, not the tail; you'll always be the top dog, never the bottom dog, as you obediently listen to and diligently keep the commands of God, your God, that I am commanding you today."
