Mother Shekinah Wisdom

eBook Download

BOOK EXCERPT:

My new book, Mother Shekinah Wisdom: The Third Person in the Godhead, is 100-percent iron-clad proven, and is one that all women must read so they may know in whose image they are created. This eye-opening book explains that women are created after the image of God’s wife. When God said, “Let us make man (mankind) in our image and after our likeness,” he meant that one of “us” was a woman who is his wife. Because God could not have looked exactly like the man Adam, and at the same time looked like the woman Eve. The fact that God made a man and a woman shows that one of “us” had to have been a woman. Another important point announces the changing of the guard in the spiritual realm, giving women the baton of power and authority on Earth to rule for a period of time up to the end of the 21st century. My predictions include that a woman will soon become President of the United States, and that a woman will eventually sit on the throne of the Vatican as Pope. I share my personal encounters with the Almighty God and with Jesus Christ, as well as my provocative love story about meeting my wife, Urismae.

Shekinah Unveiled

eBook Download

BOOK EXCERPT:

Many Christians believe and have been taught that the bride of Christ is the church, and this presupposition is widely held by scholars, ministers, and laity alike as though it were a biblical precept. Yet this view actually owes its origins to pagan heresy and mysticism that infiltrated the church over the centuries. In fact, the scriptures tell us who Jesus will marryand it is neither the Christian church nor Israel. Shekinah Unveiled examines and irrevocably dismantles the ages-old traditions that maintain that the church is the bride of Christ and that Israel was Yahwehs wife. Author and theologian John Whitman proves, from scripture, who the true bride of Christ and the wives of Yahweh are, and he explains why it matters to know the identity of the bride of Christ. Knowledge of the true identity of the bride of Christ affects multiple core doctrines of faiththe imago Dei, marriage, sexuality and the family, sin, Christology, ecclesiology, eschatology, judgment, bridal theology, and theology proper. And because the latter is itself the bedrock upon which not only systematic theology but each of these other attendant doctrines are founded, the very heart of Christianity is affected by knowing the identity of Christs bride.

The Cambridge Companion To Feminist Theology

eBook Download

BOOK EXCERPT:

Feminist theology is a significant movement within contemporary theology. The aim of this Companion is to give an outline of feminist theology through an analysis of its overall shape and its major themes, so that both its place in and its contributions to the present changing theological landscape may be discerned. The two sections of the volume are designed to provide a comprehensive and critical introduction to feminist theology which is authoritative and up-to-date. Written by some of the main figures in feminist theology, as well as by younger scholars who are considering their inheritance, it offers fresh insights into the nature of feminist theological work. The book as a whole is intended to present a challenge for future scholarship, since it critically engages with the assumptions of feminist theology, and seeks to open ways for women after feminism to enter into the vocation of theology.

A Journey To Waco

eBook Download

BOOK EXCERPT:

Nearly twenty years after they happened, the ATF and FBI assaults on the Branch Davidian residence near Waco, Texas remain the most deadly law enforcement action on American soil. The raid by Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms agents on February 28, 1993, which resulted in the deaths of four ATF agents and six Branch Davidians, precipitated a 51-day siege conducted by the FBI. The FBI tank and gas assault on the residence at Mount Carmel Center on April 19 culminated in a fire that killed 53 adults and 23 children, with only nine survivors. In A Journey to Waco, survivor Clive Doyle not only takes readers inside the tragic fire and its aftermath, but he also tells the larger story of how and why he joined the Branch Davidians, how the Branch Davidian community developed, and the status of survivors. While the media and official reports painted one picture of the Branch Davidians and the two assaults, A Journey to Waco shares a much more personal account of the ATF raid, the siege, and the final assault that details events unreported by the media.A Journey to Waco presents what the Branch Davidians believed and introduces readers to the community’s members, including David Koresh. A Journey to Waco is a personal account of one man’s journey with the Branch Davidians, through the tragic fire, and beyond.

There is 100 percent scriptural proof that Mary’s husband Joseph was the holder of David’s scepter as the spiritual king of the Jews, until Shiloh, or Jesus Christ, took it over and became the Messiah and the Spiritual king of the Jews. ? Old Testament Conceptual Metaphors And The Christology Of Luke S Gospel

eBook Download

BOOK EXCERPT:

Extensive scholarship has been devoted to Jesus' depiction in the Gospels, and how such depiction is influenced by the Old Testament. Gregory R. Lanier presents a newcase for the importance of conceptual metaphor, arguing that the Gospel of Luke employs certain metaphors reflected in Israel's traditions-such as “horn of salvation,” “dawn from on high,” “mother bird gathering Jerusalem's children,” and “crushing stone”-in order to portray the identity of Jesus as both an agent of salvation and, more provocatively, the one God of Israel. Setting his argument at the intersection of three sub-fields of New Testament scholarship-early Christology, the use of Israel's Scriptures in the New Testament, and contemporary metaphor theory-Lanier suggests ways to overcome the “low”-“high ”binary and perceive the Gospel's Christology as multi-faceted. Applying metaphor theory to the influence of the Old Testament metaphors on Luke's Christology, Lanier adds methodological rigor to the tracing of such influences in cases where standard criteria for quotations and allusions/echoes are stretched thin.
