She also has 7 years experience with a Christian Pregnancy Center in the roles of Administrative Assistant, a volunteer counselor, and later she implemented an abstinence program in which she had the lead role of the Abstinence Director. Denise has been married for 26 years and has four children.

There must be a conservative effort to learn what genes come from you and what genes were passed down to you through the generations. Learning who you are and what you are capable of can help you when helping others and also guide you away from that in which you are not as strong or proficient. There is one particular life struggle indebted to all flesh because of blood ties, but we must identify its generational existence and ask God to make it whole for its correct usage in giving glory back to God. We were created to manifest beauty in the atmosphere and speak love to our neighbors; however, this can only be achieved by asking God to order your life! Although I am a preacher with my daddy's genes, Lord, allow me to walk in my father's will for my life.

This book was born from the sweet memories that I had of learning to dance on my own daddy's shoes. My mom used to tell about what a good dancer my dad was and how she loved to dance with him. I wanted dance with him too because I was a daddy's girl through and through. I hope all little girls can learn to dance on their daddy's shoes like the little girl in this story Learning to dance and following our daddy's lead also serves as a metaphor for our relationship with our Heavenly Father. If we come to Him like a little girl comes to her daddy, with hearts wide open, He will teach us to dance the dances that He has chosen for each of our lives. Then we can take His hands, follow His lead, and learn to dance by His grace. I believe that girls of all ages can enjoy that special relationship with their Heavenly Father if they will accept Him as their own. And I pray that every girl, no matter her age, can see herself dancing on her daddy's shoes.

Jesus said, "The cup which my father hath given me, shall I not drink it?" (John 18:11). This cup that Jesus was talking about is the thing that each of us will have to go through. I could not imagine that my walk with God would be one that would require me to go through many hardships and struggles. This life that I have chosen to live, the Christian life, has sometimes caused me to stand alone among many enemies. I never imagined suffering through some of the things that I suffered through even though the Bible tells me, "Think it not strange concerning the fiery trail which is to try you . . . you are partakers of Christ's suffering" (1 Peter 4:12""13). I realized I couldn't go through the things that I suffered without his help, and through those trials, my faith grew. The Lord was there with me, strengthening me and preparing the ways for me to take. I was amazed at the level of peace and joy I had in some of my touchiest times. I suffered through so much pain, but there was a price I had to pay to be who God called me to be. Even through the silence of God, I knew he was there with me. I believed him to be true to his word; he never left me or forsook me. Though my pain and suffering were great, they paved the way for me to minister to others the love that God has for each of us. I was challenged by my faith in God to persevere through my pain and suffering because ahead of them were my deliverance and my victory. Regardless of what we have to go through, if we stay faithful and trust in him, we will win because our victory will be inevitable.
