BOOK EXCERPT:
Im so grateful for that love and joy I feel in my heart, toward everything and everyone. I learned that from God. He takes care of me and my kids, and anything I want Him to. He is always with me, just waiting to grant all my wishes. And all my wishes are only love and joy for Him being here for us and for me becoming whatever He wants me to be. No fear, no doubt, Im going the right direction. I feel with all my being that He is giving me so much joy, peace, and harmony. My life is coming together and that is an amazing feeling. It fulfills the emptiness that I had inside for a very long time. I see so much beauty in my journey to explore the life and it makes me so excited to learn how everything falls in its place, like a puzzle. What a great felling to be always with God, and once you find Him, you will never leave Him. Now, when I get to know who God is, I feel so completed and peaceful. Tranquility and peace replaced all worries I had. What a wonderful experience.

Every thing that looks bad is not always bad, for all things work together for our good. After reading this, you're encouraged to continue to pray, to stand, and to hold on to God's unchanging hand. Thanks for your words of encouragement that were birthed out of your discouragement. BOOK EXCERPT:
Trust is vital for living in these days. I believe the sin of mistrusting God is the fountainhead of our modern malaise. Imagine that God desires to take us humans to the place where each of us desires to go-the place of trust. The promises connected to trusting God are both innumerable and immeasurable. I write this volume in hopes of spurring the believer who has settled for an uneventful life while claiming love and allegiance to the Lord. I am in hopes that the person who is just going through the motions of religious life can catch a glimpse of what God has in store for him or her. Most of us really think we are trusting God, when in fact, we are leaning on our own understanding. This book will teach you the benefits and blessings of trusting God. -Larry Ellis, from the Introduction

BOOK EXCERPT:
This extraordinary collection of correspondence by Paul Bowles spans eight decades and provides an evolving portrait of an artist renowned for his privacy. From his earliest extant letter, written at the age of four, to his precocious effusions to Aaron Copeland and to Gertrude Stein; from his meditations on mescaline as relayed to Ned Rorem, to his intensely moving letters to Jane Bowles during her illness, In Touch fills in the lacunae left by previous biographers and offers a rare look at the many aspects of Bowles's brilliant career—as composer, novelist, short-story master, travel writer, translator, ethnographer, and literary critic. Here is Bowles on the genesis of his first novel, The Sheltering Sky; on his distaste for Western melodies and his dogged attempts to record indigenous Moroccan music; on the Beats, Gore Vidal, Truman Capote, and Tennessee Williams; on the nature and craft of writing; on Bernardo Bertolucci, David Byrne, and Sting; on the decline of American and the challenges of living in North Africa. Gossipy, reflective, enlightening, and always entertaining, In Touch stands as an epistolary autobiography of one of the legendary writers of our time, and a unique chronicle of the twentieth-century avant-garde.

BOOK EXCERPT:
This book is a compilation of some notable bible words that a Christian could use to speak to God during their daily prayer devotion and fasting. God Almighty has in His infinite wisdom, made statements and promises, through many Prophets and men of God for a Christian to hold on to, and be inspired with, while commuting to God in prayers. I was motivated to write this book, because, firstly, My husband and I have used it and found it very effective in our daily prayer and fasting session, especially in time of very great challenges and secondly, the bible in the book of James#4 verse 17 says" he who knows a good deed to do and does not do it, to him it is sin". Since God said He will honour His words, and also ask us to put Him in remembrance, why shouldn't all Christian take God at His words.

BOOK EXCERPT:
Humans often, under dire situations, end up cursing and thrashing the belief in the Almighty. A man is thankful of Him and His blessings if they work in his favour and aid him to grow and glow. Yet, there comes a time when nothing in life seems to be going his way and he feels that God just isn't there for him anymore; not standing beside him, deaf to all his prayers and blind to all his miseries. Isn't that the moment when a man's strongest urge is to become a God himself and make every little affliction and sorrow vanish off the face of his life with just one flick of a finger? "If I Were God" is a compendium of several such moments in the form of short stories, poems and essays, put into relatable words by our remarkable bunch of writers. This collection has been anthologized, with toil and dedication, by compiler Srashti Behure and Divya Renwa. Do read and enjoy the near 'deja-vu' instances scribbled in with adoration and kindness.
