Ahh youth, what a great time in your life. Oh how we change as we grow older. Our hopes, dreams, fears and self-confidence begin to form in our minds as we grow older. Things change. And as they do we learn, we grow and we change. But when you begin to mature and your self-confidence forms in your mind. You learn that it is not necessary to always be in such a hurry. When we are young we think there is just no time to stop and smell the roses. Being older now, I do take the time to stop, and the roses smell so sweet. Now I understand the meaning. Bad things will pass with time. It is up to us to take care of our mind. Marriage is a big change in our life. Now you have to give up some of your privacy, give more than you take, and have a lot more patience. Oh what we learn as we grow. There are so many things going on in our mind. The television used to be entertaining but now it puts all kinds of strange thoughts in your head. Be a careful viewer. It is up to us to keep our mind in order. Our body might shrink as we grow older but our brain continues to grow. Feed it with healthy things.

BOOK EXCERPT:
Owing to his keen observation of detail and unfiltered representation of society, Balzac is regarded as one of the founders of realism in European literature. Balzac sought to present his characters as real people, neither fully good nor fully evil, but completely human. His labyrinthine city provided a literary model used later by English novelist Charles Dickens and Russian author Fyodor Dostoevsky. The novel sequence La Comédie humaine, which presents a panorama of post-Napoleonic French life, is generally viewed as his magnum opus.. An original illustration.

BOOK EXCERPT:
The Three-Story Bible, based on Youth for Christ’s Three-Story discipleship program, encourages Christian teenagers to better understand how God’s story overlaps with the story of their life and the lives of their friends, resulting in deeper fellowship with each other and with God. It’s filled with 500 Connection Point Questions that inspire teens to read the Bible more closely and think about its application to their lives more carefully. Over 150 “Then & Now” features weave together the stories of young people today with Scripture in ways that equip teens to talk more openly about God and build deeper, more genuine relationships with each other. Relevant, thought-provoking, and interactive, the Three-Story Bible invites teens to discover where their stories and God’s story intersect through relational discipleship and engagement. The New Living Translation breathes life into even the most difficult-to-understand Bible passages, but even more powerful are stories of how people’s lives are changing as the words speak directly to their hearts.
