Justus Harris was born January 22, 1746 in Bedford, West Chester County, New York, and died in Genesee County (now Wyoming County), New York, October 5, 1817. Includes Burk, Fales, Scott and allied families.

Isaac Ritchie was a son of Philip Rutschly, who came to Philadelphia from Switzerland in 1727 on the ship William and Sarah. Isacc, born in Pennsylvania in 1735, married Maria Catharena Wolfe, then moved to Brocks Gap, Rockingham County, Virginia in 1803-1804, where he farmed until his death in 1824. His children married into the Baker, Fulk, Turner, Fawley, Shoemaker, Hulvey, Smith, and Miller families, who were also some of the first settlers in Brocks Gap. Ritchie descendants are found throughout the United States.

Johannes Werbel, Jr. (1738-1809) immigrated from Germany with his father, Johannes Sr. in 1740 and married Maria Salome (ca. 1740-1829) settling in Westminster, Maryland in 1760. They later moved to Antitum, Maryland. Johannes was known as John Warble, Maria Salome (no surname available) was known as Sarah. Descendants lived in Maryland, Ohio, Virginia, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Florida, Louisiana and elsewhere. After their military defeat by the Florentines in the mid-sixteenth century, the citizens of Siena turned from politics to celebratory, social occasions to express their civic identity and show their capacity for collective action. In the first major work of its kind, Colleen Reardon opens a window on the ways in which the Sienese absorbed the new genre of opera into their own festive apparatus and challenges the prevailing view that operatic productions in the city were merely an extension of Medici power to the provinces. It was, rather, members of the expatriate Chigi family who exploited the festive impulse of their countrymen, coordinating operatic performances with their triumphant visits home by activating ties of friendship and family as well as connections to Sienese institutions, most notably the Assicurate, possibly the first all-female academy in Italy. If the Chigi proved successful at inserting opera into larger patterns of sociability that conveyed the very essence of what it meant to be Sienese (senesità), their successor, the flamboyant playwright and librettist Girolamo Gigli, struggled in his attempts to transform operatic performances into professional enterprises.
