The collection consist of a seventeen page manual, An introduction to... planning for emergency production, that was produced by the Munitions Board in July 1950. It contains an overview of the Production Allocation Program, a voluntary program to plan for wartime industrial needs in order to support the armed forces of the United States (U.S.). The manual also includes a list of production planning offices with a map. More complete information was outlined in the Production allocation manual (No. 90-1) of March 1950.
