BOOK EXCERPT:
Many Americans believe that their own government is guilty of shocking crimes. Government agents shot the president. They faked the moon landing. They stood by and allowed the murders of 2,400 servicemen in Hawaii. Although paranoia has been a feature of the American scene since the birth of the Republic, in Real Enemies Kathryn Olmsted shows that it was only in the twentieth century that strange and unlikely conspiracy theories became central to American politics. In particular, she posits World War I as a critical turning point and shows that as the federal bureaucracy expanded, Americans grew more fearful of the government itself--the military, the intelligence community, and even the President. Analyzing the wide-spread suspicions surrounding such events as Pearl Harbor, the JFK assassination, Watergate, and 9/11, Olmsted sheds light on why so many Americans believe that their government conspires against them, why more people believe these theories over time, and how real conspiracies--such as the infamous Northwoods plan--have fueled our paranoia about the governments we ourselves elect.

BOOK EXCERPT:
Most believers know that the Bible says ..". for we wrestle not against flesh and blood..." But, if we say that "we know this," then why are there so many believers, made of flesh and blood, blaming, resenting and fighting one another? Maybe it's because we are not realizing enough that those negative " thoughts and feelings" do not come "just from us..".but from living beings that are unseen. We are not realizing enough that unholy thoughts, feelings, desires and reasons did not originate "from us" or from what is said to be "our sinful nature..".just as holiness does not originate "from us." If our holi-ness comes from the HolySpirit, would our un-holiness not also come from un-holyspirits? I submit that we do not understand enough " the sin that dwells in the flesh." It is alive, and does what we do not want to do... unless we recognize the real, spiritualenemies behind "the flesh." Miguel Demelli is a Spirit-filled believer who also embraces the Hebraic roots of the Messiah and the Whole House of Israel (Ezekie 37:15-28). He's been searching for the "keys to victory" for 15 years. And just when he thought he was defeated forever, these simple truths were clarified to him and transformed his walk...forever. His desire is to see true unity and victory in the Body. But, as he found out for himself, this cannot happen as long as there is so much hidden, unrecognized enemy activity in and through us operating against ourselves and then against one another, resulting in much strife and even diseases. He presently splits his time as a translator in his local congregation, as Spanish Outreach Coordinator/Translator for the Messianic Israel Alliance in the US and Mexico, as an associate with wholeness ministries and with other personal ministry and translation opportunities. He currently resides in Orlando, Florida. Cover Illustration by Rosemary Burke (c) 2009

BOOK EXCERPT:
I searched all over Google “How to write an introduction for a novel?” and to be honest I found nothing. So, I have written by opening my heart, every word is written from my heart. I read many books, all books speak about strengths, peace, success, wealth and health too. But I didn’t find any book which speaks on our enemies. We know that half of our time will be spent on thinking about our enemies and tackling them. So, I decided to write a book on enemies. The story starts from childhood to old age explains all the incidents which a common man faces and coming to know all his enemies. The specialties of the book are it helps to find your real enemies, the other specialty is there are tasks which you have to do. This is a novel that is not just a story but some tasks that need to perform. One more specialty is I wrote this book when I was 18 and published it when I was 19. I am hundred percent sure after you read this book, you will never feel that this is a book written by a teenager. This book is written in a very simple language which can be completed in just 1 week. This a book which doesn’t require a dictionary to read, everything is written in simple language. My friends and the publishers read this book in just one week. This is the best book for a beginner to start habituating to reading novels. I didn’t see any book which was written in this simpler language. There might be some books written in simpler language but are very rare. Reading 180 pages of a book may look difficult to complete in one week. You are right but not this book. Don’t keep any doubts in mind just start reading the book. The book may seem boring in middle but has a very good meaning in the story.

BOOK EXCERPT:
While security stories often point to real threats, the narratives of leaders are as much about legitimating the power of rulers and the political and economic system that brought them to power. Derber and Magrass offer a penetrating examination of this phenomenon across history and types of societies. Their analysis reveals the great irony about security stories: they historically increase insecurity, imperiling citizens and nation. In the US today, the contradiction is especially acute, as security stories told by Trump divide US citizens against one another. The book builds from an analysis of the extreme dangers of the prevailing security stories to a new paradigm of true security. The authors develop new approaches as our best hope for avoiding catastrophe and creating a socially just society based on real security for a nation and for humans across the planet.

BOOK EXCERPT:
On her midway of life journey, as a mother of three children and medical practitioner specialty in obstetrics and gynecology, the author has constantly been searching for Light in her soul through prayer and reflection, and writing piece by piece of her own perceptions of surrounding affairs. The Light within her subverts the dark forces in her heavy responsible trade—sorrow, suffering, despair, and difficulties. In return, the Light shines on her soul with joy, happiness, hope, and easiness. Invoking her Muse to inspire her work, she composes poems like music in her soul. They are refreshing like a passing fresh summer breeze, truthful like stars in the night sky, at times mighty like hidden icebergs, and sometimes funny like a clown making you laugh.

BOOK EXCERPT:
This book examines the normative debates around the American use of targeted killings. It questions whether the Obama administration’s defence of its use of targeted killings is cohesive or hypocritical. In doing so, the book departs from the disciplinary purpose of international law, constitutional law and the just war tradition and instead examines discipline-specific defences of targeted killings to identify their requisite normative principles in order to compare these norms across disciplines. The methodology used in this book means that it argues that targeted killings are only defensible as acts of war, but it also highlights the normative role of accountability and responsibility in this defence. In doing so, it offers an argument that the use of ‘pattern of life’ killings by the CIA falls outside the defence offered by the Obama administration, but that this same type of targeting could be used by the military due to differing standards/mechanisms of responsibility assignment in these organisations. The book thus provides a way of investigating contemporary wars where the conduct of war lacks the traditional hallmarks of conventional warfare. Furthermore, by drawing attention to differing normative concepts that underpin competing interpretations of law and morality, it provides a way of analysing contemporary political violence in an interdisciplinary fashion without seeking to displace single disciplinary study. This book will be of much interest to students of military studies, ethics of war, foreign policy, international security and IR.

BOOK EXCERPT:
David Becomes Goliath, Volume II of Hart’s multi-volume work, ZIONISM, THE REAL ENEMY OF THE JEWS, reveals in well-documented detail starting from 1948 how the assertion that Israel has lived in constant danger of annihilation, of the “driving into the sea” of its Jews, is little more than Zionist propaganda. What really was the case, after Israel unilaterally declared itself to be in existence, was that the Arab armies did not have the ability-neither the numbers nor the weapons-to defeat Israel’s forces. Despite some stupid Arab rhetoric to the contrary-a propaganda gift for Zionism of which it has made extensive and ongoing use-the Arab regimes had no intention of even trying to destroy Israel. They were quickly at one with Zionism and the major powers in wanting the Palestine file to remain closed after Israel’s first victory on the battlefield. There was not supposed to have been a regeneration of Palestinian nationalism: for them, Arafat’s real crime was making this happen. Here, too, is the riveting story of how Zionism, assisted by deluded British Prime Minister Eden and America’s hawks, conned the Western world into believing that Eygpt’s President Nasser was an enemy of the West when actually he was seeking an accommodation with Israel from almost his first days in power, and wanted more than anything else a relationship with America on equal terms with that of Israel. Hart also takes us inside the struggle of the first and last American president, Eisenhower, to attempt to contain Zionism, and President Kennedy’s unsuccessful attempt to prevent the Zionist state acquiring an atom bomb (an acquisition still unadmitted by either the US or Israel, to this very day). But most importantly, Volume II records a turning point: the story of the defeat of reason in Israel, with Ben-Gurion’s replacement of Israel’s second Prime Minister, Moshe Sharett, who in October 12, 1955 expressed in his diary this prescient fear for the future in view of the ongoing Zionist expansionism of his time: “What is our vision on this earth-war to the end of generations and life by the sword?”
