Poetry S Heart To Heal The Soul

eBook Download

BOOK EXCERPT:

Poetry's heart to heal the soul is based on some very touching inspirational things I have gone through in my life. With god as a guide and a light, I've been through many things and everything I've gone through I put it into love I call poetry, it's about good times and bad but always a meaning to explain life at that particular moment in time. It is a passion I have for life and the miracle it stands to be that I put into words. I see life kind of like music and a dream, and the power to create our own fate. A lot of it is gratitude for where I stand and my love to serve in this world, my wishes to help. Some of this literature is on religion some on limitless love, emotions I call a dimension on so many levels and outlooks I guess that's why it's poetry. When I write it's like my mind is filled with words and an understanding that I put to words in hope to interest or love in someway. I hope it is like a piece to a puzzle in some way or justice or helps someone to see life differently in a good way.

Soul Of A Poet S Heart

eBook Download

BOOK EXCERPT:

So when you first woke up this morning, what was the first thought that popped into your head? Maybe you said a quick prayer. Or perhaps you felt an overwhelming sensation in your mind like floodgate doors being thrown open to all your plans, appointments, and expectations. Like with the law of gravity, set parameters are so quickly established in the real world by others, as well as ourselves. They dictate what we can or cannot do. But do they really? Do we have to succumb to what life seems to command of us, or can we decide to embrace the gravity of our life experiences, both good and bad, and use them as our teachers? Soul of a Poet's Heart lays out the unique experience of going back in time to reflect on one's decisions, experiences, and feelings. And as a true "gallery" on display, it offers messages of profound inspiration and value to see, ponder, and ultimately understand. Whether it's about matters of love, relationships, family, forgiveness, spirituality, wisdom, encouragement, or even art, culture, politics, and philosophy""all of these broad topics impact and speak to our core with both complexity and revelation. Soul of a Poet's Heart unveils an innate secret""that we're all poets and artists by the act of "living," and we all create a virtual gallery of experiences, emotions, and thoughts too precious and intense to ignore or hide from sharing. It's time to get away even for a moment and embark on something new and different, yet, oddly familiar""to explore being a student of yourself and use that knowledge to learn and take flight into the essence of becoming all that God meant for you to be.

Darwin S Heart

eBook Download

BOOK EXCERPT:

A middle-aged man dying of heart failure consents to an experimental artificial heart. The post-op course was stormy with no improvement. His wish was to die at home, so he was discharged. At the funeral, his wife presented the doctors with a lawsuit, saying “You buried my husband without his heart.” The doctors found his heart, put it back in his chest, and the lawsuit vanished. This case had a profound effect on the author’s thinking and conduct as a physician cardiologist. Dr. Weiss realized doctors focused on the heart as a pump, rather than the symbolic heart and what it represents. This book surveys how a host of ancient cultures, religions, and civilizations envisioned the homo sapiens heart before the advent of modern medicine, and how that understanding will preserve our species.
