Critical theory, characteristically linked with the politics of theoretical engagement, covers the manifold of the connections between theory and praxis. Critical race theory (CRT) was introduced in 1995 and for almost twenty years, the theory has been used as a tool to examine People of Color’s experiences with racism in higher education.
