This sixth peer review of the OECD Principles of Corporate Governance analyses the corporate governance framework and practices relating to corporate risk management, in the private sector and in state-owned enterprises.

This study on government debt brings together a number of reports on best practices for managing market risk, credit risk, operational risk and contingent liability risk. It was prepared by the OECD Working Party on Public Debt Management.

Risk is a popular topic in many sciences - in natural, medical, statistical, engineering, social, economic and legal disciplines. Yet, no single discipline can grasp the full meaning of risk.
