The proceedings of SOMA 2015 contain eighteen interdisciplinary articles on themes from underwater archaeology to history, archaeometry and art history, and chronologically, the subjects of these articles range from the Bronze Age to the 20th century.

Contributions to this volume, covering all shores of the Black Sea, draw on a mix of archaeological evidence, epigraphy and written sources to explore the activities and characteristics of those that inhabited or colonised the Black Sea area, as well as those that visited, acted in, or influenced the region, from the archaic to Roman periods.

This volume is a collection of articles which present the results of investigations into the grammar, semantics and pragmatics of deictic expressions in several languages. Special emphasis is placed on contrastive studies that take cognitive and cultural context into account. Both the empirical and theoretical studies focus on the ways in which spatial, temporal, personal and textual entities are conceptualised and referred to. The cognitive approach proves to be a promising perspective combining aspects of perception, reasoning and linguistic expression to reveal what seems to be at the very heart of deictics.

A reference work on conscientiology, this treatise, with more than 5,000 entries in the bibliography, first published in Portuguese in 1994, presents the reader with the bases of the neoscience conscientiology. The author proposes 300 tests for self-application, dealing with topics of great relevance such as assistance, the theory of thosene (thought, sentiment and energy), and the theories of inversion and existential recycling, among others. The work presents conscientiology as the science applied to the study of consciousness (ego, personality) in an integral approach, with all its vehicles of manifestation (bodies), previous existences and attributes. The content being deepened and presented in a theoretical and practical way, so a reader understands the importance of this knowledge to their life. The science of conscientiology utilizes the best of the main lines of human knowledge: common sense, religion, philosophy, political ideology and conventional science; and is based on multidimensional self-experience, having consciousness as both the instrument and object of research.

Modeling a disability culture perspective on performance practice toward socially just futures In Eco Soma, Petra Kuppers asks readers to be alert to their own embodied responses to art practice and to pay attention to themselves as active participants in a shared sociocultural world. Traditional somatics teach us how to fine-tune our introspective senses and to open up the world of our own bodies, while eco soma methods extend that attention toward the creative possibilities of the reach between self, others, and the land. Eco Soma proposes an art/life method of sensory tuning to the inside and the outside simultaneously, a method that allows for a wider opening toward ethical cohabitation with human and more-than-human others.
