Although it is possible that some in the Cambridge University structure resent the infusion of lily-white Cambridge University with students of color, it is a fact and a reality that cannot be ignored. CUSU International exists to represent the needs of international students, who are growing in number. For many officers of CUSU International, they did not see their position as a vainglory position but as a real opportunity to make positive differences in the lives of international students who lack proper access, adequate representation, and real possibilities for advancement (in many cases).
