This book provides a comprehensive survey and analysis of teachers’ attitude towards environment and its related issues. The study of environment has become much more relevant today, than it was ever before. It is now that man has realized his mistakes and started thinking about Nature's protection and preservation. The teacher plays an important role in teaching learning process and in turn the child is influenced by his teaching to meet the social and physical aspects of the environment. Teachers can help the students to form a healthy constructive attitude for environment. Once, this healthy constructive attitude for the nature is formed the child will become a friend of the nature through out life. To date, the majority of work in language learning psychology has focused on the learner. In contrast, relatively little attention has been paid to teacher psychology. This volume seeks to redress the imbalance by bringing together various strands of research into the psychology of language teachers. It consists of 19 contributions on well-established areas of teacher psychology, as well as areas that have only recently begun to be explored. This original collection, which covers a multitude of theoretical and methodological perspectives, makes a significant contribution to the emerging field of language teacher psychology as a domain of inquiry within language education.

The present book was designed to find out whether there were any differences in the personality factors, attitudes and emotional intelligence of teachers at secondary level in District Srinagar, J&K. The sample for the investigation consisted of 600 secondary school teachers, out of which 300 were males and 300 were females (150 each in rural and urban dichotomy). The data was collected with the help of R.B Cattell’s 16 Personality Factor Questionnaire, S.P Ahluwalia’s Teacher Attitude Inventory and Shubra Mangal’s Teacher Emotional Intelligence Inventory. This book is believed to help teachers, research scholars, programme planners, policy makers and administrators of the concerned field.

Employing a mixed-method approach, the book investigates the psychology of English as a Foreign Language (EFL) teachers in the online teaching environment in China during the COVID-19 pandemic. Specifically, questionnaires were conducted on Chinese EFL teachers to explore the profiles of EFL teachers’ anxiety, self-efficacy, buoyancy and engagement. Additionally, semi-structured interviews were used to demystify their psychological growth in the dynamic interaction with ecological environments, thus constructing an ecological model of EFL teacher psychology in online teaching.
