He wondered what made his life a saga of tragedies, toils, and challenges. He pondered about the next upheaval in his tempestuous life. Subjugating all his passions and aspirations, he wondered whether he should leave it to destiny to chart its own course and sojourn a normal life because of the stressed moments and tragedies he has been through! Unfortunately, he witnessed many moments of agony and helplessness of family members right until their last breath. He was precariously poised at the crossroads of existential crises at a crucial juncture in his life. He mulled on the essence of power and strength bequeathed to him, helping him bounce back at every challenge with resilience and determination. The Allman Brothers Band was formed in 1969 by Duane and Gregg Allman, along with Berry Oakley, Dickey Betts, Butch Trucks, and “Jaimoe.” Their musical combination of the elements of rock, blues, jazz, and country was hugely successful and continues to stand the test of time. Tragically, both Duane Allman and Berry Oakley were killed in separate motorcycle accidents in 1971 and 1972 respectively, but the band endured with the remaining original members and additional members for forty-five years. The book titled “MEMORABILIA” is light-hearted poetry for general reading. While there is scope for poetry or fiction, it is quite but natural to come out with creative writing. I am glad that, I had an opportunity to express my views as a citizen. So, the book contains a few insights of life, and the philosophy that is quite entertaining, and how the life unfolds to the go-getters, through the mode of literature.
