The Corruption Of Interest

eBook Download

BOOK EXCERPT:

This book I consider one of my best and most intense. The false truth about what’s going on in our society, and the world, has gotten so ridiculous, that I felt I had to write this to advise believers and non-believers the truth as Jesus states in the word, in John 14:6 & 8:32. It was upsetting me that the truth was not coming from the politicians and from the pulpit. It took President Trump (thank God for sending him), to expose the corrupt state wide media, and the corruption in Washington D.C.I give the plain truth, from the word not only about the evil Demoncrats, but I also talk about subjects like religion, race, crime, etc. topics that most people will not talk about, because they are afraid there not “politically correct”. I don’t have to be politically correct; I have to be Biblically correct, this is Gods world, not Washingtons. I start off with Interest, which God meant for good, but man has corrupted it. Did you know that you can learn from a spider how to be closer to God and live a more fulfilled Christian life of discipleship? Did you know you can learn from the child and the dog about yourself? There are many other gems wisdom that you will love and learn from. In my other books you can find on Amazon you would get a great blessing as well. There are the three volumes on “Balance, The Spider and the Saint, When I look up, and the childrens book, “Charlie the Spider and friends. I wrote them differently then other books out there. There are jokes, stories, quotes, to keep you entertained. Be Blessed my find, enjoy my books, but your relationship with God is even greater, that’s first Priority. Thank you for reading this text, and enjoy my friend. See you on the way up.

Captured By Evil

BOOK EXCERPT:

One of the most powerful words in the English language, corruption is also one of the most troubled concepts in law. According to Laura Underkuffler, it is a concept based on religiously revealed ideas of good and evil. But the notion of corruption defies the ordinary categories by which law defines crimes -- categories that punish acts, not character, and that eschew punishment on the basis of religion and emotion. Drawing on contemporary examples, including former assembly woman Diane Gordon and former governor Rod Blagojevich, this book explores the implications and dangers of maintaining such an archaic concept at the heart of criminal law.

The Impact Of Corruption On International Commercial Contracts

eBook Download

BOOK EXCERPT:

This volume presents national reports describing the legal instruments that are available to prevent the payment of bribes for acquiring contracts. Anti-corruption is one of the preeminent issues in the modern global commercial order and is tackled with the help of criminal law and contract law in different ways in different countries. The reports included in this volume, from very diverse parts of the world, represent a unique and rich compilation of court decisions, doctrinal discussions and a pool of suggested solutions. The central theme is the enforceability of three problematic types of contracts: the bribe agreement, whereby a bribe payer promises the agent of his business partner a personal benefit in exchange for favourable contract terms; the agreement between a bribe payer and an intermediary (a “bribe merchant”), where the latter offers his expertise to help funnel bribes to agents of the business partner; and finally, the contract between the bribe payer and his business partner which was obtained by means of bribery. The analysis is tailored toward commercial contracts, which can also include contracts with state-owned enterprises. The examination and comparison of international and national initiatives included in this volume advance the discussion on the most appropriate remedies in corruption cases, and show how to get past the boundaries of criminal, private and contract law.
