Excerpt from The Eleventh General Catalogue of the Psi Upsilon Fraternity: March 1902 Ince the publication of the Tenth Catalogue of Psi Upsilon, in 1888, four Chapters and nearly three thousand members have been added to the rolls of the Fraternity. The present Catalogue, omitting biographical matter, records the names, chapters, classes, symbols, and degrees of members, the occupations and addresses of the living and the dates of death of the deceased. Where members have belonged to more than one chapter during their undergraduate period, cross references are made in the body of the book, but in the indexes only the chapter of latest membership is indicated. Those who were never attached to the institution at which they attained chapter membership are separated from the class lists by a dash. The asterisk denotes death. Discarded names are enclosed in brackets. Initial letters not followed by periods are not abbre viations.
