Past, Present, and Future could be created or destroyed at will. You had to be special to become an Eternal. Andrew Harlan was special. Until he committed the one unforgivable sin—falling in love. Eternals weren’t supposed to have feelings. But Andrew could not deny the sensations that were struggling within him. He knew he could not keep this secret forever. And so he began to plan his escape, a plan that changed his own past . . . and threatened Eternity itself.

The End of Time and the Beginning of Eternity represents the culmination of lifelong experiences and many years of research by author C. G. Deveaux. Driven by the passion to know the truth, He has researched the secret and the unknown. What he has found is exhilarating and shocking. This study explores the meaning of life and considers the end times in which we are now living. It also offers a warning of coming destruction to the world as we know itand that hell is real. The good news is that with Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we can be forgiven. Because of Jesus, we can live with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit for eternity. Beginning with the authors personal experiences, The End of Time and the Beginning of Eternity provides a well-balanced approach to the supernatural, followed by facts and evidence of the coming end times. The author provides advice on how to prepare and thrive when many will be lost, destitute, and afraid. To insure the proper context, he augments all of the facts with Holy Scripture. Most of all, this study proves that we are in the end times and explains how we can be victorious in the face of these events.

BOOK EXCERPT:
The Word of God has a lot to enlighten us concerning the events and things to experience, know, and expect at the end of ages and eternity. The Bible tells us about the signs of the end of time and of ages, of the Coming of Jesus Christ, and of the beginning of eternity. God's Word has never failed, and it cannot fail; and knowing that His Word has been faithful in the past, we should know that it will not fail now. The Bible lets us know the signs of the end of age. And the Lord Jesus Christ said, "Take heed that you not be deceived. For many will come in My Name, saying, 'I am He,' and, 'The time has drawn near.' Therefore do not go after them. But when you hear of wars and commotions, do not be terrified; for these things must come to pass first, but the end will not come immediately" (Lk. 21:8-9).

BOOK EXCERPT:
Winner of Grawemeyer Award In this remarkable and timely work - in many ways the culmination of his systematic theology - world-renowned theologian Jurgen Moltmann stands Christian eschatology on its head. Moltmann rejects the traditional approach, which focuses on the End, an apocalyptic finale, as a kind of Christian search for the "final solution." He centers instead on hope and God's promise of new creation for all things. "Christian eschatology," he says, "is the remembered hope of the raising of the crucified Christ, so it talks about beginning afresh in the deadly end." Yet Moltmann's novel framework, deeply informed by Jewish and messianic thought, also fosters rich and creative insights into the perennially nettling questions of eschatology: Are there eternal life and personal identity after death? How is one to think of heaven, hell, and purgatory? What are the historical and cosmological dimensions of Christian hope? What are its social and political implications. In a heartbreakingly fragile and fragment world, Moltmann's comprehensive eschatology surveys the Christian vista, bravely envisioning our "horizons of expectation" for personal, social, even cosmic transformation in God.

BOOK EXCERPT:
Examines themes of loss and mourning in the late work of Derrida. In this book, Kas Saghafi argues that the notion of “the end the world” in Derrida’s late work is not a theological or cosmological matter, but a meditation on mourning and the death of the other. He examines this and several other tightly knit motifs in Derrida’s work: mourning, survival, the phantasm, the event, and most significantly, the term salut, which in French means at once greeting and salvation. An underlying concern of The World after the End of the World is whether a discourse on salut (saving, being saved, and salvation) can be dissociated from discourse on religion. Saghafi compares Derrida’s thought along these lines with similar concerns of Jean-Luc Nancy’s. Combining analysis of these themes with reflections on personal loss, this book maintains that, for Derrida, salutation, greeting, and welcoming is resistant to the economy of salvation. This resistance calls for what Derrida refers to as a “spectro-poetics” devoted to and assigned to the other’s singularity. “Saghafi’s book makes a remarkable contribution as a coming-to-terms with interminable mourning.” — Peggy Kamuf, author of To Follow: The Wake of Jacques Derrida
