WILL CHRISTIANS EXPERIENCE GREAT TRIBULATION? Most evangelical Christians believe in a Pre-Tribulation Rapture, and they believe it is right around the corner. They believe that Armageddon is knocking at the door. The crisis and battles for territorial rights in the Middle East, the outbreak of Holy Wars and terrorism throughout the world, have most evangelicals convinced the end is near! But, they arent worried because their hopes lie in The Rapture; a unique event they believe will have Jesus Christ returning to earth to secretly snatch them up to heaven while all hell breaks loose on earth! What will happen to their faith if they are proven wrong? The End Times Passover not only biblically proves there will be no Pre-Tribulation Rapture, it proves that The Bride of the Lamb is not the Church, that there will not be a 1000 year millennial reign of Christ, that the human soul does not go to heaven or hell immediately after death, that the Promised Land is not in the Middle East, that Gods children of promise are not solely ethnic Jews, that the church of God began thousands of years before the Day of Pentecost, and that Gods true disciples will experience great tribulation. This may not sound like Good News; but its absolutely true! Whether you are a Christian or not, are you prepared to read this book and finally learn the truth? We dare you! We also dare your pastor, your Bible studies teacher and folks like Hal Lindsey, Tim LaHaye, Dr. Tommy Ice, Jerry Jenkins, Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell and thousands of other teachers and believers of the Pre-Tribulation Rapture to read this book! We dare these few good men to read and study this book, and tell us if they think they can really handle the truth!

This book examines the essential topic of our Lord's Last Supper and His crucifixion. It shows that Jesus Christ is the true Passover Lamb who fulfilled the Old Testament "type" and that His Last Supper with His disciples was a pinnacle teaching moment that each believer needs to know, understand, and practice. Take this journey into the Scriptures and discover the doctrinal statements that are symbolized in the Biblical observance of the ordinance of communion. While examining the subject of ordinances you will also discover the doctrinal statement that is symbolized in baptism. The author closes with an explanation on how you can be assured that God will pass over you when it is time to face His justice.

Focusing on the celebrated story of Josiah's Passover in 2 Kings, Shigeyuki Nakanose provides a dramatic demonstration of the contribution of sociological hermeneutics to contemporary Biblical exegesis. This method complements historical-critical exegesis by reconstructing the social systems of Biblical communities in their religious as well as their economic and political orders. After introducing the sociological method and a brief consideration of historical and literary-critical readings of Josiah's Passover, Nakanose explicates the method of sociological analysis and its facets - economic, social, political, and ideological. Turning to the text itself, he shows clearly how the process of liturgical purification it describes is intimately tied to the centralization of political and commercial interests in ancient Israel. He then goes on to demonstrate, using the experience of Brazilian base communities, what happens when this critical reading is joined with critical reflection on the reader's own social location.

The Lord’s Supper (or Eucharist) has often been a subject of intense debate in the church. What is often lost in this debate is the significance of the relationship of the Eucharist to Jesus’ Last Supper with his disciples, which was a Passover—or Passover-like—meal. Moreover, the Last Supper connects back to various meals in Jesus’ earthly ministry. And it looks forward to the great messianic banquet as fulfillment of Jewish expectations. In exploring these connections, this book focuses on the three motifs of “new creation,” “hospitality,” and “hope” in Christ. Most significantly, when we break the bread and drink the wine (or juice) together we are asserting the reality of the new creation in Christ, affirming God’s grace, forgiveness, and cruciform love which is to be embodied in the Christian community, and anticipating the day when God’s present and ongoing work of restoration, justice, and reconciliation will ultimately prevail. The Supper, then, is basically a condensed summary of the story of God’s plan of redemption. Hesselgrave brings together biblical, theological, ethical, and social insights in a way that deepens our understanding of the meaning and practical significance of biblical texts related to this central ordinance of the church.
