Henry Rowland (d.1690/1691) immigrated from England to Fairfield, Connecticut as early as 1649/1650. Descendants and relatives-- arranged in alphabetical order by surname--lived in New England, New York, New Jersey, Kentucky, Illinois, Kansas, California, Washington and elsewhere.

Edward Fitz Randolph (1607-1675/1676) immigrated from England to Scituate, Massachusetts in 1630, and married Elizabeth Blossom in 1637. Descendants lived throughout the United States, and some continued to use the last given name of "Fitz."

Francis Joseph Durand (ca. 1740-ca. 1817), a Huguenot, immigrated from France (via the West Indies) to Norwalk, Connecticut between 1756 and 1763. Descendants lived in New England, Ohio, the northern midwest, and elsewhere.

"Arent Theunisen Van Hengel, with his wife, Tryntie Reynders, and three children, Reynier, Mary, and Hendrick, came from Hengel in the county of Zutphen (now in Gelderland), Holland, in 1653, and settled on Staten Island [New York]. It is probable that he was killed during the Indian uprising on Staten Island"--Page 27

Jeremiah Meacham (1613/1614-1696) emigrated during or before 1650 from England to Southold, Long Island, New York, and married twice. Family tradition indicates he immigrated between 1630 and 1642 under an assumed name (possibly Weaver). Descendants and relatives lived throughout the United States. Joseph Mecham Sr. (1780-1845), a direct descendant in the sixth generation, married Sarah Basford, and they became Mormon converts. They moved from New Hampshire (via Ohio and Missouri) to Nauvoo, Illinois, where he died. His descendants and relatives lived in Utah, Idaho, Arizona, California and elsewhere. Includes much Mecham ancestry and genealogical data in England to about 1066 A.D., including various lines of nobility.

Francis Cooke was born August 1583, probably in England, and died 7 April 1663 in Plymouth (later to become Massachusetts). He married Hester Mahieu in 1603.
