Malorie is a normal teenage girl when she heads to London to visit her estranged father, hoping to build a relationship with a dad she barely knows. Unexpectedly, Malorie stumbles upon a life-changing adventure. While on tour of the Tower of London, Malorie wanders into a hidden room and uncovers an ancient-looking pearl necklace with a golden letter B pendant. The long hidden pendant belonged to Anne Boleyn, who was once Queen of England and was eventually beheaded by her own husband. Malorie begins to see what seems to be the ghost of Anne when she touches the pendant. Malorie soon learns that not only is Anne’s spirit attached to the necklace, but also that Malorie must help Anne seek out her husband, King Henry VIII, in order to pass on. With the assistance of her father, Malorie embarks on a journey to track down King Henry VIII’s ghost. Will they find him, or will the ghost of Anne Boleyn torment Malorie forever?

BOOK EXCERPT:
A true and shocking ghost story about one of England’s most famous queens, Anne Boleyn. Witnessed on numerous occasions throughout the centuries at her historic home, Hever Castle, and the Tower of London, where she was executed, as well as many less familiar places you wouldn't necessarily expect to find her, Anne Boleyn’s Ghost is considered to be one of the most frequently seen ghosts in the United Kingdom. One day in 2009, a family visited Hever Castle on the five hundredth anniversary of King Henry the Eighth's accession to the throne. An outing full of twists and turns, their day at the castle had a few surprises in store for them. As they walked through the castle's ancient rooms, one of the family members – a budding photographer – unknowingly captured the ghost that has mystified so many individuals since her dramatic, and rather gruesome, end. It is Anne Boleyn like you have never seen her before. Her Ghost no longer dwells in the shadows but has appeared in her full glory in front of one, unsuspecting photographer's lens. Almost five hundred years after she was executed at the Tower of London, Anne Boleyn appears not a day older than the day she lost her head. This is the story of that family's eventful day at Anne Boleyn's historic home, Hever Castle, and the mysterious photographs they took...

BOOK EXCERPT:
As a dawning understanding emerged slowly into view, Rose began to see her life experiences through a more compassionate lens. It became necessary for her to fully forgive and release any trauma she still clung on to from her past, but not only from this present lifetime. Her ever more mysterious life path began to lead her along a metaphysical pilgrimage into other past lives and experiences not belonging solely to her current one, but strangely inter-linked. What she discovered about her conscious reality, began to metamorphosis into a realisation that she is not a lone figure in the tapestry of experiences that she wove over the centuries. Stitch by stitch, she imagined a far greater picture with others joining her along the way, on a special past life pilgrimage. As she stood back and observed it from afar, as an artist would a painting, it seemed that all the unrelated knots and tie came together as a beautiful whole. Along The Way, she leant how her challenges had shaped her destiny over and over again, down through history. Some experiences taught her painful lessons and others brought her unimaginable gifts but everyone she includes in this jigsaw of a tale, seemed to play a unique and important part to the overview of life that was emerging. In this second book, she traces each character’s life learnings and mysterious self-discoveries in order to understand how each piece of the jigsaw fits with hers and what she can share with others keen to understand the same. Although a personal journey, it took on a spiritual nature of a very different kind, leading to some exciting revelations about the magic we can each weave. BOOK EXCERPT:
What are the qualities which make an ideal ghost hunter? You need to be part detective, part investigative reporter, a scientist, with a measure of the psychologist thrown in… In this book, which is the first real guide to the hunting of ghosts, Peter Underwood manages to cover just about eery aspect of this intriguing and mystifying subject. Starting from an explanation of the various kinds of ghosts, various kinds of hauntings and the many types of location in which ghosts, poltergeists and associated phenomena occur. He examines in detail methods of investigation, the use of specialist equipment, including a special section on the photography of ghosts, and the associated questionnaires and documentation needed in order to carry out a bona fide and exhaustive research into the haunting. At this point he takes the reader through a step-by-step investigation of a haunting, bringing in the above specialist equipment and paying particular attention to the singular problems associated with poltergeists. Then, having learned the lessons, he looks at aspects of ghost hunting in Britain, Europe, North America, Australasia and the Far East, ending up with a calendar of ghosts and their hauntings. The author's authority and specialist knowledge in this subject makes The Ghost Hunter's Guide a unique and important book in the investigation of those phenomena which we cannot yet fully explain.

BOOK EXCERPT:
This book explores 500 years of poetry, drama, novels, television and films about Anne Boleyn. Hundreds of writers across the centuries have been drawn to reimagine the story of her rise and fall. The Afterlife of Anne Boleyn tells the story of centuries of these shifting and often contradictory ways of understanding the narrative of Henry VIII’s most infamous queen. Since her execution on 19 May 1536, Anne’s life and body has been a site upon which competing religious, political and sexual ideologies have been inscribed; a practice that continues to this day. From the poetry of Thomas Wyatt to the songs of the hit pop musical Six, The Afterlife of Anne Boleyn takes as its central contention the belief that the mythology that surrounds Anne Boleyn is as interesting, revealing, and surprising as the woman herself.
