The Last Days Are Left Behind

eBook Download

BOOK EXCERPT:

Have you been wondering as a Christian, or non-Christian, what many think -- and expect -- will happen in the "last days" or "end times" with all the talk and focus in the headlines -- and some churches -- about our future? And with all the events taking place in the Middle East, especially Israel? And Iran? Are you confused because of various end-time scenarios and conflicting opinions promoted through popular books on prophecy, the Left Behind series, televangelists, preachers, and others speaking of a great tribulation, rapture, Armageddon, Apocalypse, the destruction of the earth, a new heaven and earth, a second coming, and a millennium? There has been an overload of teaching and information about these things over the last century -- however sincere and cloaked in good intentions -- yet with long-held and deep-seated traditions and doctrines, all borne of a lack of accurate knowledge (particularly the Hebrew and Greek) and information based on compelling evidence. Would you like to know what the Bible actually says about all these issues? For God's Word itself -- "Let Scripture Interpret Scripture" -- and the Holy Spirit are the only necessary interpreters. The Last Days Are Left Behind will challenge your thinking, help to erase the confusion, and provide clarity regarding the present-day purpose of God. Author James Ellis demonstrates end-time truth based logically on solid evidence after a linguistically accurate, biblically consistent, and intellectually honest examination of the Bible's prophetic passages and verses, the original languages -- Hebrew and Greek, the social, cultural, and historical context of Scripture, and the relevance of the audience spoken or written to in God's Word.

Last Of The Last Days

eBook Download

BOOK EXCERPT:

Last of the Last Days is dedicated to refuting the unbiblical error of Replacement Theology. It scripturally proves that Nero was not the biblical fulfillment of the Antichrist. It chronicles Israels disobedience and Gods plan of national restoration for Israel through the Tribulation process. It also discusses the next prophetic event for the church, which is the Rapture, followed by the Judgment Seat of Christ. It culminates in evidence that we are living in the Last of the Last Days, before Jesus Christ returns to Earth.

A New Look At The Last Things

eBook Download

BOOK EXCERPT:

Matters pertaining to our Lord's second coming, heaven, hell, and associated topics are often set aside by Christians, sometimes for very understandable reasons. Dogmatic predictions based on bizarre calculations from the Bible, and equally zealous disciples aggressively promoting their view point as the only right interpretation of Scripture, have caused many believers to lose interest in this wonderful aspect of biblical truth. In A New Look at the Last Things the reader will find a careful overview of various topics relating to the Last Things. Different interpretations are discussed and the merits of each is evaluated, enabling the reader to come to a fuller understanding of what the apostles taught concerning these matters.

BOOK EXCERPT:

Handel Lloyd Andrews was born in Georgetown, British Guiana, the eldest of three children of Lloyd Joseph Augustus Andrews and Ruth Maude Andrews. He started following Jesus from an early age and was a roadside preacher in his early teens. He is a devout, bible-believing Christian and a keen student of bible history and Christian theology. As a student of Logic, Ancient philosophy and Ethics, he recognizes that his faith in God cannot be verified, since faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Like Lord Tennyson, he cries, Strong Son of God, immortal Love, Whom we, that have not seen thy face, By faith, and faith alone, embrace, Believing where we cannot prove; He ministers the word at every opportunity and remembers the advice of 1 Pater 3:15, Be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear. This book is a testimony of his faith. Mr. Andrews holds a B.A. (Honours) in History and an M.A. in English from York University, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. For 9 years, he wrote a religious column, with the pseudonym Bro. Libird, for a prestigious New York newspaper. His last literary endeavour was Guyanas Turbulent Journey to Independence and Beyond, a politi cal and social history of his native land.

The Return Of Jesus Christ With Judgment

eBook Download

BOOK EXCERPT:

Every believer wants the biblical resources to determine truth. Here are those verses, every one of them, regarding the Lord's return with judgment and the resurrection of all who have ever lived, to be so judged. The end result is clear, unambiguously straight forward and above all simple, if the reader is willing to endure the reading of a plethora of passages. And willing to accept what the Lord and the apostles actually said. For, what was said became what was written. To find all the truth available about the whole of the Lord's second coming, the judgment and the general resurrection comes down to this: Is what the Lord said more important than what one presently believes. Or is what one presently believes more important than what the Lord, Himself, said, what Paul said. At first, the question seems ludicrous until one realizes how many different beliefs among believers there are about the Lord's return, the judgment and the timing of the resurrection, despite what Jesus said. Marc asks: "why would anyone not believe in one general resurrection when the Lord Himself taught one general resurrection? Why would anyone not believe in one judgment of all people when the Lord returns?" The answer can only be because one permitted himself to be so blindly conditioned to the rapture and a literal millennial period that the return of the Lord with judgment and the resurrection of all, at once is impossible to accept. Hopefully, this work will contribute to opening some of those entrenched minds and keep others from becoming the same. Marc presently lives in Orlando Florida where he pastors Blessed Fellowship Orlando, an outreach ministry of Orlando Prayer and Worship Center, Senior Pastor Roy Futch.
