BOOK EXCERPT:
This book is translated through AI translator. Hello, I\'m Shalom Min, the servant of Christ The essence of our faith. These days, the beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ is considered more brilliant and precious. The world is running faster towards the end. The division is further tarnishing and degenerating the gospel as if it had sensed its end was near, and spreading constant temptation so that Jesus\' gospel could never be engraved on its heart. At a time like this, when it is not enough to love only you, you must be more awake so that you will not be distant from you or lose your love for the first time. Even those who believe in Jesus can fall at any time, so they must be more deeply rooted in the gospel. This book is the property of faith and the confession of faith that I wrote while struggling to protect my faith when I was in the army. The reason why I re-edited it and published it again was to reflect on the nature of my faith and to wake up many people and to convey the full gospel, I planned and practiced it with the impression of the Holy Spirit. Dear brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus, I sincerely hope that this small book will convey the great love of the Lord, how much he loves you, how much he wants, how much he waits, and how much he longs for you. Listen to the voice of the Lord who calls us. In response to the invitation of the Lord, who invites us with that eternal love and leads us from glory to glory, let us all go before the Lord and before the gospel again! Then I\'ll meet you in heaven!

BOOK EXCERPT:
The Way of Jesus Christ discusses the following topics: 1. The symbol of the way embodies the aspect of process and brings out christology's alignment towards its goal. This symbol can comprehend Christ's way from his birth in the Spirit and his baptism in the Spirit to his self-surrender on Golgotha. It also makes it possible to understand the path of Christ as the way leading from his resurrection to his parousia-the way he takes in the Spirit to Israel, to the nations, and into the breadth and depth of the cosmos. 2. The symbol of the way makes us aware that every human christology is historically conditioned and limited. Every human christology is a 'christology of the way, ' not yet a 'christology of the home country, ' a christology of faith, not yet a christology of sight. So christology is no more than the beginning of eschatology; and eschatology, as the Christian faith understands it, is always the consummation of christology. 3. Finally, but not least important: every way is an invitation. A way is something to be followed. 'The way of Jesus Christ' is not merely a christological category. It is an ethical category too. Anyone who enters upon Christ's way will discover who Jesus really is; and anyone who really believes in Jesus and the Christ of God will follow him along the way he himself took. Christology and christopraxis find one another in the full and completed knowledge of Christ. This christology links dogmatics and ethics in closer detail than in the previous volumes.

BOOK EXCERPT:
This is a collection of twenty-four essays by Richard Bauckham first published between 1976 and 2008, some of which have been updated for this volume. Many aspects of the literature and thought of early Judaism are covered, including life after death, the provenance of the Pseudepigrapha, the Jewish apocalypses, the book of Tobit, the Horarium of Adam, and the Contra Apionem of Josephus. There are discussions of 'the parting of the ways' between early Judaism and early Christianity and of the relevance of early Jewish literature for the study of the New Testament. Other essays throw light on specific aspects or texts of early Christianity by relating them to their early Jewish context. These include studies of the delay of the parousia, the restoration of Israel in Luke-Acts, and the use of Latin names by Paul and other Jews in the early Christian movement. The essays in this volume result from the author's conviction, throughout his career, that the New Testament texts can only be understood adequately through wide-ranging and detailed study of the Judaism of the late Second Temple period.
