I began in the ministry twenty-seven years ago, in 1983. In 1990, along with my wife Freida, Divine Intervention Ministries began. For nine years we pastored Mirrored Image Church. At the present time we are evangelizing. The reason I wrote this book is that I believe that the church has lived far below God's expectation. In this book I would like to take your eyes off of a coming victory and place them on a victory won at the cross. A victory that left nothing not put under Jesus' feet or our feet. I desire through the Spirit to show you who you are in Christ by virtue of three days and three nights. I wish to expose traditions of men that have left us less than who we are. We are to be a walking talking manifestation of Christ in the earth today. Victory in our future depends on a victory from our past, the cross.

The revised edition of A Theology for the Church retains its original structure, organized under these traditional theological categories: revelation, God, humanity, Christ, the Holy Spirit, salvation, the church, and last things. Each chapter within these sections contains answers to the following four questions: What does the Bible say? What has the church believed? How does it all fit together? How does this doctrine impact the church today? Contributions from leading Baptist thinkers R. Many erroneous concepts and practices inhabit this old world; and even the church world. This book exposes a lot of them. And of course, if it is erroneous, then the devil is behind it; for he is a liar and the father of lies and liars. Which makes this book a very timely work. God is the same as He has always been; so is the devil; so is lost mankind; so is religion! The outward appearances may be different in these modern times, but underneath, the devil, lost man, and even religion are basically the same as they have been in every generation. The main truth this book emphasizes is that Satan is a diabolical character, but a shrewd one; requiring that he hide behind people, institutions, ideas and concepts that come across as genuine and on the up and up. Why would Satan have to hide his actions and purposes if they were the right kind of actions and purposes?
