BOOK EXCERPT:
Do you constantly struggle with your walk of obedience? Does the secret of faith elude you? Confound you? The first thing we discover after the honeymoon of commitment is that we dont know how to walk in faith. Is it because we dont have enough faith? We assume we should not have a problem with our walk of faith because we love God, but if the truth be known, we do--more often than we care to admit. Walking in defeat becomes the norm as we struggle to control our lives.Dont lose heart! The Simplicity of Faith offers help and hope where these and other issues are concerned.

BOOK EXCERPT:
As a student of the Word of God, the subject matter of faith excels most topics in the Scriptures. Faith is the way of life for the believer. We stand by faith, and Satan has no combatant in his arsenal for faith. And without faith, it is impossible to please God. Because of the principles of the faith of God's word, I have a zero doctor's bill at the wonderful ripe age of sixty-five. The power of the force of faith liberated me from poverty and equipped me to pastor the people of God for over thirty years. And the faith of God has kept me committed to my beautiful anointed precious wife for thirty-three years. Galatians 5:6 says that faith worketh by love. Jesus lived this in His earth walk and ministry. Jesus was falsely accused and condemned, and yet His words were "Father, forgive them." We praise God that the faith of God is continually cultivating in me the noncompromising love of God. By the grace of God through faith, we now minister throughout the continental United States of America and in many other countries throughout the world. We have witnessed the faith of God raise the dead, restore defeated marriages, and bring rebellious, lost children to Jesus. Faith cometh by hearing the Word of God. But faith goeth by confessing the Word of God. By holding fast to our confession of the Word of God, the Lord raised my wife and young baby boy up out of a very dangerous ghetto. By faith we received the favor of God through a man who put us in our first home without any money. Faith raised us up in ministry, and we now pastor over a thousand people. The faith of God brought us into possession of over thirty acres of land that is debt-free. We released our faith to build a geodesic dome that seats over 1,200 people that we are now in possession of. To God be all of the praise and glory for all that He has done. For we have come this far by faith

BOOK EXCERPT:
In this book, you will follow a young man from childhood to young adult. As you follow this young boy from working on the farm to the streets of Detroit as a gang member, to his military career that took him to Kentucky, Illinois, Virginia, Connecticut, South Carolina and Spain, then back to South Carolina and Michigan to read the gospel twice a day for a week before it sunk in and changed his life, and before moving to Wisconsin to find God's plan for his life. The lessons he learned from his dad he later realized were biblical principles to having a good life. Pat and his wife decided to trust the Lord's leading to take their two children away from friends and extended family and follow his lead. They needed to move to another state with no job, no friends, and no home. With chickens and rabbits, they left their families to move to Wisconsin.

BOOK EXCERPT:
Our God is a God of faith, and it takes faith to please Him. It is easy to have faith in the little things, and many Christians exercise their faith by what they can see, hear and or feel; but omit to realise that God revealed Himself through Jesus, and set Jesus before us as the One to whom we must entrust ourselves for salvation. This Christian book explains what faith is, and elaborates on how we are to mature our faith through a relationship with Jesus in order to experience God at work in our lives! This book explains through examples how we, as Christians, are to walk by faith and not be dependent on our feelings or circumstances, by realising that faith is simply the hand that takes from the hand of God. ,

BOOK EXCERPT:
Steven J. Duby examines the doctrine of divine simplicity. This discussion is centered around the three distinguishing features: grounding in biblical exegesis, use of Thomas Aquinas and the Reformed Orthodox; and the writings of modern systematic and philosophical theologians. Duby outlines the general history of the Christian doctrine of divine simplicity and discusses the methodological traits and essential contents of the dogmatic account. He substantiates the claims of the doctrine of divine simplicity by demonstrating that they are implied and required by the scriptural account of God. Duby considers how simplicity is inferred from God's singularity and aseity, as well as how it is inferred from God's immutability and infinity, and the Christian doctrine of creation. The discussion ends with the response to major objections to simplicity, namely that the doctrine does not pay heed to the plurality of the divine attributes, that it eradicates God's freedom in creating the world and acting toward us; and that it does not cohere with the personal distinctions to be made in the doctrine of the Trinity.
