There is so much happening as we the people of the world continue to evolve through COVID-19, with it, undoubtedly, being one of the most catastrophic events of modern times. This book is a continuation of my previous book titled; “Coronavirus: The Pandemic of the Century and the Wrath of God”. It recalls actual stories and memories thus far as mankind continues to evolve from the gloominess of COVID-19. This book represents my thoughts, views and various life events that I wish to share with you all. As a neurosurgeon and an anesthesiologist working the front lines within three major medical centers of the greater metropolitan area of Chicago, I have, without hesitancy, never closed my doors to my patients. My faith in our Lord Jesus and my abounding love to my patients, residents, and students has kept me going and strengthened my soul. During COVID and as the world coming out of COVID, it was a good time to flash back in marvelous works of our Lord, my patients stories and my achievements, performances, lessons learned. This book is centered in deep Christian rituals and meditations consisting of 115 chapters distributed over 12 sections touching on various topics that have passed through my mind during the evolution of COVID-19. These topics range from what I deem, critical COVID, all the way to vaccines, political COVID, and concomitant events as well as my personal memoirs, patient care, and the living stories of my patients. There is so much to share with you from April 2020 until the time of publication, so let us open the book and explore my time during COVID-19.

It is the author’s final documentary book on COVID-19, number Eight as it ended! A total series of Eight books covering, from author’s perspective, the entire journey, since the very beginning of SARS-COV-2 Late 2019. Will the world ever recover from COVID-19? As a practicing Neurosurgeon and anesthesiologist, I haven’t stop or close my practice. In contrary, I was much busier and happy to be in the frontline saving lives. The book contains not only my review to events occurred as the world began to recover from COVID-19 but also many of my medical and surgical adventures including patients’ stories during 2022 as COVID-19 slowing down! This is my fifth book since COVID-19 started! The fear is that COVID-19 has caused a lifetime impact and healed with visible permanent scar. Perhaps, the year 2022 is post-COVID. Instead of celebrating Thanksgiving, among many others, the world witnessed post-COVID aggression! This book presents the author’s personal views, reflections and experiences during 2022 post-COVID-19 period covered over 178 chapters and 14 sections! The reader will reflect on what could be the new “norms” and events evolved as the world attempts to recover from the pandemic of “COVID-19”! In 14 sections over 153 chapters.

This is my third book written during COVID-19 pandemic where I continued to serve unceasing as a practicing Neurosurgeon, Anesthesiologist, Intensivist and Pain Specialist in the Chicago land area. Despite the extreme negative impact of COVID-19 worldwide, I kept daily dairy of my thoughts, reflections and patients stories over a year since June 2021! As I kept writing, while the world is being flooded with the deadly virus and dreadful news, I saw the rainbows in the shadows of COVID-19. As in the days of Noah thousands of years ago after the deadly flood of the world and God covenant with man through the rainbow so is the current days of COVID-19, a renewal of the covenant between the Almighty God the Lord and the people. The current book shares my rainbows in the shadows of COVID-19 as follow up series of the author two books of COVID-19.The book divides into 20 sections and contains total off 194 chapters. The book designates major sections on my continuing education and wellbeing of my residents and students as well as Neurosurgical patients and inspired stories during late phases of COVID. It covers most of the ongoing thoughts and essential events from October 2020 through July 2021 during the COVID recovery phase such as Thanksgiving, Presidential Election and Inauguration, Christmas, New Year, riots and Vaccination. Another section is written to pay tribute to those sacrificed their lives and stood strong against the most horrific virus in the front line.
