When you begin to read the Old Testament with Jesus tinted lenses then it becomes incredible at what you discover. I relate looking for Jesus in the Old Testament to digging gold in an old abandoned gold mine. When you dig up a piece of gold you don’t want to quit. You are inspired to dig harder and dig deeper to find more. You catch gold fever. I have found when people no longer see the Old Testament as an old abandoned part of the Bible and begin to dig for Jesus; what they will discover is a wealth of Jesus gold. When this happens they catch the Jesus Fever.
